Invest in the best zoom brakes you can afford if you live in hilly areas. If you think your life is worth it, you should save up and spend more money. It took me two weeks to build a fat tire 1800 watt electric bike and the bike alone weighed 80 pounds after I finished installing everything. In my current body weight, I range between 220 and 230 lbs. It is flat out possible for me to do 50 mph on my bike. That is well over 300 pounds in total. It wasn't stopping well enough with the cable disks so I bought cheap zoom disc brakes that stopped much better than the cable one that came with the bike. I live in a hilly area where we can have steep downhills as steep as 500 feet on In my case, I squeezed so hard due to insufficient stopping speed last month that the front lever that houses the fluid burst, causing the fluid to leak down the forks to the front disc, which led to the brakes failing. The grace of God had already brought me far enough downhill that I was able to stop. When riding a heavy bike or when you are big and hefty, you MUST buy a good set of brakes. Despite being thin, you need to cut back on your 50-pound eating You should not go more than 60 mph downhill or around a curve. I just have my two cents to add. It is a ten times better brake than my cheap ZOOM hydraulic brakes, and one that gives me confidence in handling. While they break in quickly, they do take a little getting used to as they are MORE grabby. Adjust the grab reach and practice first because if you don't, you will flip the bike during braking and slide the back tire off!.
I had to return the product because it was poorly assembled.
I've used it on downhill runs and it has provided predictable stopping power each time. If you drag this brake all day, it won't wear out.
This setup works well for my riding style. However, as I progressed, I realized that it might have been better to simply pay a bit more for the four-cylinder was not a big fan of the fact that I had to attach the hose to the brake lever myself since I am not a very good brake bleeding guy. They are a good choice for beginners who do not want to break the bank for a set of good-working.
The smoothest possible stop.
In all, it is worth the money even if they do not come with attachments.
