What size rotor do you have on your bike, and what kind of adapters do you have? there are four adapters included with the kit, 180mm front and 160mm rear should work perfectly.
Erik, I just realized there is an adapter included in the set, but it is only for rear 160mm rotors. It was correct previously, thanks for letting me know.
If the cable length is close to the same on the two bikes, then I think they would work great. Despite this, it isn't clear if the hydraulic brake lines will fold very well.
On the right side of the photo you should see an area where you can select the length of your

Pre-installed 'value add' is included with this kit A bleed occurred. I found it super easy to install and it worked perfectly! Over a mechanical disc brake, the mechanical drum brake represents a major upgrade. My wife and I bought a bike for her. I remember receiving disc brakes as an upgrade from the old v-brakes when I bought the car five years ago There are two types of brakes rim brakes and drum However, they have always been far less powerful and more prone to squealing than I would have liked. It didn't take me long to order this upgrade kit after I looked into I did not find it difficult to install, and I am very pleased with how it turned out. We are not going to talk about high-quality This is a fairly high-end mountain bike brake system, but for a trail bike with disc brakes, it is a smart upgrade that is well worth the cost and effort. The update for the 30th of November is Just a quick post to let you know what has been happening. Despite the fact that my wife has put over 1,000 miles on her bike since I installed these, they are I would highly recommend this upgrade for her bike. These work so much better than the original cable-type unit. Solutions actuated by an external device. Squeaking was always an issue because of the pad that was fixed on one side of the clamp and the only pad moved when clamping. clamp both sides at once and move together as a pair. They are also about $20 cheaper than they used to be. This is a great deal!.
Considering that I wanted hydraulic disc brakes but didn't want to spend a great deal of money, I figured it would be worth trying these out. I was pleased when I received them because they seemed well-made. There was nothing cheap or plasticky about it. I bled them just like I would any other Shimano hydraulic brake, they were very When I first installed them, they weren't very good in terms of performance, but after bedding them in properly (driving down a hill a couple of times with dragging brakes), they worked perfectly. Although they won't compare to something like XT brakes, these have pretty much the power I was expecting for the price. If you're looking for hydraulic disc brakes on the cheap, these are the best. But don't expect super powerful brakes from them.
Listed in the seller's package are In JGBike, you get a nice package, which comes with a nice set of extra It is a steal to get a package of that quality for $50. This is not what you get for $100. Check out the big unnamed internet auction site and search for Shimano MT-152 The brake set for the 200 cc engine. This set includes everything in the box + a pair of Avid G3/HS1 discs (my choice If you can't wait, you might be able to get this package in a day with prime.
Shimano MT-140 Here are the 200 brakes that come with In the same way the Ford Model T was to cars, these brakes are to hydraulic bikes. Even though they are not the best brakes on the market, I would wager they can make any other brake jealous. In terms of stopping power, the device is in a "good" range In this modulation, you can expect a very simple, natural, predictable tempo My experience with them over a year of heavy use has not resulted in failure therefore, I can rate them as excellent in their reliability In addition, they haven't squeaked a single time when paired with a new set of Avid G3 discs, so the noise rating also stands out as Generally, they are already assembled Despite the great lever feel, it hasn't lost any of its appeal after a year All discs except for the thickest can be installed in just minutes with a pad gap that accommodates everything except thick The most important thing is that the price is so cheap. The price (on EB) is so low that it doesn't really make sense to pay your local bike shop to bleed and replace the brake It would be more expensive to just buy a brand new set for the same amount of money. Shimano have won here in fact because it lets the masses use hydraulic brakes – sort of wasteful, but a win nonetheless. In true Model T fashion, you can order it in any color you want - also in gray and white. It doesn't matter what color it is, so long as it's.
As part of the $350 29+ mid-range, there were mechanical brakes This simply couldn't be stopped by a fat bike and it eliminated any performance gains. As I speed along twisty singletrack, I can see many trees in the distance. As if they had been made for it, these brakes did an excellent job of stopping the car. I have them on two MTBs that are far more expensive than these. They are 90% as good as the XT brakes they were designed for. There is no doubt that the XTs have more adjustment and weigh a few grams less, but these are brilliant brakes at an outstanding price!.
There is a 2nd mounting bracket missing. Make sure you pay attention to the length of the brackets. This is the second set I have installed on my buzz novara, replacing my old Avid BDBB mechanicals that were too old and worn to entice me to put in more time extending their lifetime. As it was, my brakes weren't working well to begin with, but when I had these on, My riding consists of mostly New Orleans roads, so I ride around New Orleans with New Orleans drivers on flat surfaces. The engagement is smooth, and I enjoy using the rear set alone. I live in New Orleans, so I bike around the city on flat surfaces. I suppose these are a bit overkill, but I imagine they would be suitable for Appalachia as well as San Francisco. Despite the fact that it was my first time installing disc brakes, it couldn't have been easier with the technician. Secondly, I am ordering the second size of US - I will check and update with my measurements, but I think I am ordering 1650 rear. At some point, I will need to shorten them. In light of this, here are a few things that weren't There is also olive oil and other stuff I'm not too familiar with yet, as well as parts to shorten the hose. Moreover, there is only one mounting bracket as well as what I believe is a 180mm rotor spacer included. Rotors are also not present. If you don't have one yet, make sure to acquire an additional bracket if you don't already have your old mounting bracket. I ordered new rotors and used my old mounting bracket for the front calipers. It was only offered with one mounting bracket and a 180 mm I received no parts for shortening hoses, so be careful with the length, I had measured correctly but my hoses are still too long (not a ton, but I will probably shorten them someday).
If I had paid more, I might not have been so impressed with their effectiveness. My initial thought was that hydraulics and even new calipers were out of our budget, but, putting aside a few dollars, I think they are well worth the modest cost.
