Although it works very well for us, we have a very short path, only 50 feet in length. Our grade was raised more than the 6 degrees it is certified for since the track is short and there was not much speed. We are all stopped by it, even the big adults. Our goal was to make it accessible to As there is a rope-and-seat for the kids, we decided to place the turnbuckle behind the hit (Indusco 93900296 Hot Dipped Drop Forged Galvanized Steel Jaw and Jaw Turnbuckle) to offset it further from the tree. By using a turnbuckle, you are able to pull in the slack when the clothing warms up. It appears there are no collisions with the tree, but I am still going to add a pad to it. Worked great for me. You just need to remember to slide it on the line before you set It only has been a couple weeks, but all the neighbors come over, so we use it a lot for pushing the kids and working on The clamps at that turnbuckle were removed and a wooden block was installed that hit against a flat surface in lieu of metal clamps.
There are no connectors built into the cable, but we can reem them out to work with
There is no need for this. Zip lines of only 100' or less and only slopes of 3% or less can be braked with this brake. It is likely that you will need either a 30' Bungee or Thanks so much.
I think this is a great Although it could be used as a backup, it must be used with slopes less than 3% when it is set up as a stand-alone brake. When using Bungee Brakes, they are designed to be used on slopes greater than 6%, so if you were to use this brake at any kind of speed, it may not be appropriate. Thanks so much.

We also added an extra clearance pipe over the bottom end to prevent kids from slamming into the tree. Within a few months, rust appeared on our deck, which had been well before winter arrived in the Pacific Northwest. I was disappointed since the price was so high. As far as we know, it has still lasted a few years, so we have simply learnt to live with the rusty appearance.
After reading other reviews on this product, I went ahead and bought two for our zipline, which did not come with any stop block, bungees, or any other accessories. I am very satisfied with this purchase. BUY TWO OF THESE, JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE REVIEWERS SAID! In spite of their good speed, the kids hit this spring at a decent rate of speed and if there weren't two of them, I'm sure they would have crashed into the tree on the zipline. My experience with this product has been great.
There is too much danger in this one! It would have been better if I had bought two at the end of my line instead of While the one in front of you is no problem to stop, the one in front of you when you stop is still a little scary. Close, but no cigar! The added measure of confidence that another spring would bring would give you the confidence you needed to zip at twenty miles per hour straight towards a huge ash tree. As I had bungee cord brakes for the primary stop, I used the spring as my secondary stop. Having the spring here to stop me when the bungee broke was a great help to me.
I won't worry about my great grandkids banging their heads against.
We used it on our family zipline and it worked perfectly!.
I like it a lot. There is no better way to entertain kids.
