It is certainly true that there is a right and a left in all of Like shoes, it has a lot of features. Close the Velcro to keep it in place. I really like the size of this. I bought my daughter some protective gear for her, just like her older sisters. She is 6. The small size has been ordered. Covers and protection are provided for all parts. Because my kids seem to hurt themselves so often, this set is perfect for me. It's good to have a helmet. During the back of the neck and chin strap adjustment I had to tighten it all the way. Once the adjustment is complete I like how it fits perfectly. It's very hard to take care of such a small child 40 pounds or so. In order to put the knee pads on, you sit on them first before slipping the leg into them, and then Velcro is attached on two points. They are the same way as the elbow pads. Overall, there are three Velcro straps on the hand protectors. There is no way to remove any of this equipment until the user chooses to do so. I love this super cute and safe set of kids bike helmets for kids! Having blue as a favorite color is lovely. This is a great product, recommended by mama and kid. This set is so much fun for my daughter.
