I bought two sets of these for my kids who are learning how to ride a bike. My kids' knee and elbow pads fit well (both pairs are size s, and they have a thin/tall build, just turned 5 and 7 years old respectively). This time I am reviewing the product with 3 instead of 5 stars. A portion of the material is falling apart where the leg straps are attached to one of the knee pads. Despite the thick outer fabric, the main fabric (the colored cloth) is not very durable, and easily tears Because of this coarse weave, it is prone to failures of this sort. Furthermore, the velcro wears out very quickly (you know when the cloth side of the velcro starts to get fuzzy and not catch the hook side. As a result, that is I'm not sure how many times my kids have worn them. Overall, I still rate the product a three out of five. The pads have been very helpful to both of my kids when learning to ride. Despite wearing the pads for a long time, they are still pretty good on the bike. The girls I have don't like getting similar styles, so I had to find a new pair that didn't have the same bad reviews for them. The straps can be itchy, but I simply adjust them and I am fine. As long as you don't pull too hard, everything should be fine. Staggers, but must be re-adjusted after repeatedly falling. This is amazing. I was surprised to discover this brand! It is not cheap, but it is very good quality! The cheap, non-brandname quality item that I thought I was buying was not what I expected.
