Questions & Answers
This balance bike comes with both air tires and foam tires, one from Radio Flyer and one from RideOn. The listing for the one with air tires can be found here. The first time I ordered from Amazon, they sent me the wrong one. In my opinion, the air tires are much more luxurious. The can provide more traction and a better ride, especially if the vehicle will be travelling over uneven ground. In terms of foam tires, they are good because they don't require upkeep but they are slippery (definitely not suitable for indoor use) and can easily become embedded with rocks and debris.
I think it's about 13 inches.
This would be perfect, as I have a kid who rides it like crazy at 3 1/2 years old. My friend owns one and it's great.
Hopefully it can be retrieved from the box, it's still the Christmas present

I have a four-year old The year is The balance bike has already taken my son for a spin and he is already balancing for 10 feet at a time.
I find that many people who I speak with don't know what it For those of you who don't know what a balance bike is, it's a bike Even the youngest of kids who can't write a bike will learn to balance in no time, and as soon as they are big enough, they are able to ride a bike. After being on training wheels for over a year and no improvement, I used this technique for my daughter by taking the petals off of her first bike. It took me an hour to teach her to ride a bike after she spent a week learning to balance. In my opinion, this Radio Flyer Flyer bike is much cheaper than its competitors and it does not seem to be any less durable. Here is a picture of my son before I told him to put his helmet on.
The only problem is that I failed to read any reviews (last minute Xmas gift), so I didn't realize the bike has no footrest. Other balance bikes allow the kid to cruise at a steady pace and rest their feet on something at some point. Kids have to execute an isometric hold so that their feet don't drag on the ground when they are doing this. The good thing about this is it builds up their quads, but it is I would say that for parents the instructions are incredibly easy to follow, but the unit I got required some "adjustment" with a wrench to get it to work. on the frame where the handlebars go was too small and I had to pry it open manually in order for them to The whole thing is not cool.
My gosh, that's so sad! Perhaps this was the best present I have ever given to On May 4, 2016, just a little over two years ago, I purchased it for my son. As a parent visiting the park with my son I would see so many parents and kids struggling to ride their bikes, while my son was riding circles around the park as he learned to ride. He did an amazing job and it was extremely fun to go on walks. He got his first peddle bike last month and it took him a day to learn it when I took of the training wheels! It proved to be extremely helpful to him! This balance bike helped my three-year-old understand balance without having to rely on training wheels, and it was such a great tool for him to use. I recommend this balance bike to anyone who is new to riding without training wheels for children. The product I bought was great and I recommend it to everyone This bike is perfect for 3-year-olds that want to learn how to ride a bike! If you don't want to constantly have to turn the bike, or move the pedals, or stop to help the little one, this is the bike! They pick it up quickly and will soon be able to ride beside you as you walk or jog! The concept of a bike without pedals attracted a lot of skepticism at first. Why would a bike without pedals have no wheels? When they saw him on it, they were surprised at how well he did, and now they understand why I got it from him, it taught him how to balance so well that it made the transition to a regular bike with no training wheels.
Easy to put together and well-made, this bike is easy to use. With the release of a lever, the seat and handle bars can be adjusted to change their heights quickly. I have a 4 year old girl who is extremely tall for her age (about 44 inches tall) and this bike, at its tallest setting, is a little bit If they came in a bigger size, it would be easier for tall kids to wear them. As well as getting her ready for her big day, she is learning how to balance well in this way You - It is far better to start your child off on a bike after a tricycle rather than a small bike with training wheels. There are no pedals on this stroller, so the child moves it by kneeling. Once she learned how to ride with the training wheels, it was frightening for my daughter to take them off. Training wheels do nothing to help teach your child how to balance on a bike. For a child that is too big for a tricycle but not small enough for a bike without training wheels, I highly recommend this bike.
A balance bike with real tires, one that can grow with the child, and one with real wheels was what I wanted. In my role as an OT, thinking very closely about the gifts I give to children is particularly important I couldn't have imagined a better balance bike for my therapist than this Radio Flyer! I assembled the table in ten minutes with my husband's help. It was a good choice to purchase this gift for our niece because I am very happy that we did and cannot wait to see how it helps her learn to walk, balance, and be motor-coordinated.
Almost three years ago, I gave it to my son for his birthday. It was given about a month before it was due. This thing is what he uses to fly. The thing may have taken him a little while to catch on, but in true form within two months of fiddling he began really I cannot keep up with him now that he is moving so fast. My son won't require training wheels once he buys his first bike, but the bell will occasionally fall off of it and loosen, and it just generally needs to be repaired. But since our child has a knack for fixing things, I don't mind this However, I did take off a star since it obviously is a problem with the actual product.
We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase for this little guy so far this year. It's a small 2year old with a love for bikes who loves to strut and go up and down the drive like his big brother. I like how well it is made, looks just the way it should, and my little boy feels like a rock star while riding it with his short stature, this is the perfect size for him.
Although I tightened the handle bars to the maximum tightness, the bars still moved (broke an original 3/8 bolt trying to tighten it more and had to buy a new one). There's no way to keep the seat in position no matter how tight you make it. Purchased a different brand of soap for a friend that was cheaper and.
