It was a concern of mine as well when reading reviews on this bike, and nearly kept me from thinking about purchasing it compared to others, because the bicycle wouldn't be able to be ridden if either clamp failed. Nevertheless, I'm happy to report that the blue/black GOMO bike bought on 4/21/2021 (sold by Nextsport) arrived with black aluminum clamps on both the handlebars and seat post. They are well-made and appear to be durable. The wear and tear of these is not an issue and do not strip or loosen over time.
We can provide the Gomo bike to kids even if they are old enough who are learning how to control a pedal bike. If you require anything else, just let us know.

The GOMO bike didn't have many customer ratings because I read that it does not teach the skills needed to move up a regular bike. Based on a review I read online, I decided to purchase the GOMO bike even though it didn't have many user reviews. There is nothing I can do to stop him from riding this bike! This is a great investment because most of the most highly rated bikes are almost twice as expensive. looks like it is holding up pretty well, considering how long we have been using it The past week of continuous use must end. Any issues we encounter with the bike will be updated in this review.
Overall, I give the company 5 stars just for customer service. I bought this bike for my three young children since they already have a balance bike, a bike with training wheels, and a few trikes. Since the kid who uses the balance bike most often has great balance and control, the other two either rely solely on the training wheels or the trike. He can ride faster and over rougher terrain than the other two as well, so I wanted to give them all the same chance to learn. There were many positive reviews on Amazon as well as on some biking websites for this bike. Because of its affordable price, I decided to give it a try. My bike came well packaged, was light, and was easy to assemble once I realized which plastic caps were protective and which were part of the bike. The instructions were not clear, but I managed to figure it out without too much trouble. After you put it together, the bike is lightweight but sturdy, and my 3 year old twins absolutely love This chair is bright, the handles are comfortable, the seat has enough padding, the seat and handles can be adjusted, and the footrest does not interfere with use. However, what makes this company stand out is the customer service. There were a lot of damages on our bike when it arrived. Although we wrapped it in bubble wrap, there were some scuffs in the paint even though there was a good layer of bubble wrap on the box. To avoid returning the item to the retailer, I took pictures and emailed them to the company, since they requested that instead. Sincerely, I didn't expect much from this show. There could be a partial refund offered along with an apology. In its place, I received a response within a couple of hours, an apology, and the offer to send us a completely new bike for free. I will go to the website and see if they make a larger balance bike as well, as I am not sure if my 4 year old can handle the current one. Thank you for an excellent customer service experience. My five-year-old will still be able to fit the bike by the end of the summer, and I'm more than happy to support this kind of business.
My grandsons are 6 days apart in age, so I bought 2 of them since they are both 2 years old. That's why they love it so much. It is possible for both seats to touch the ground thanks to the adjustable seats. This is a recommendation I would give The material is strong, but still light enough to be picked up by young children. It's better for them to do it on their backs as they approach the handlebars.
However, even though my son loves his new bike, and now his sister wishes to have one too, I would not purchase any more GOMOs. The latch that adjusts the handle bars broke, and after it was assembled my husband had to tape it back together to keep it from falling off. If it hadn't been a birthday present he was so excited about, we would definitely have returned it. In the future, this will pose an ongoing issue as he grows, and it could have been avoided if the piece had been made of metal instead of plastic.
In a nutshell, I bought this bike for my son, and he fell in love with it from day 1. He was able to get on, navigate it and steer this bike by himself (it is not heavy). To give you a sense of scale, my son is 2 1/2 years old. Putting the bike together was something I did Basically, it entails connecting two pieces and is very simple to put together.

In spite of the fact that it was fairly easy to assemble (says my husband) and it's of great quality, my 2 year old is slowly learning to use the bike. Fortunately, the seat can be adjusted to grow as your child does, which is convenient.
