Questions & Answers
I bought the Chillafish a few years ago, and it has no brakes.
They don't exist. Training wheels are not available on balance bikes.
That's not quite correct! My 42-inch-tall son still sits in the highest position on his bike. The seat can only be adjusted in three positions. Your son, at 32", should be able to use it for a few years before outgrowing it.
I have no idea. Sorry, I don't have the packaging and there was nothing listed on the bike. I can attest to its quality construction, and my grandson adores it!

" I couldn't get the front wheel on because I couldn't get the axle off. It easily stripped and I was unable to reassemble it.
It appeals to her. I've seen her employ it several times. She's walking around with it, half-sitting and figuring out how to balance. I read about these "strider" type bikes, and they seem to be a great way for small children to get a feel for a bike, learn to balance, gain confidence, and begin cruising. At Christmas, this particular brand was on sale. Their design appealed to me, and I knew the pink color scheme would appeal to my niece. This model has a breaking mechanism, but I don't believe it is necessary or important.
We've purchased a large number of them. We have one for our children, and we've purchased several for friends. It's simple to put together, operate, and adjust to various heights quickly. It's a sturdy toy that teaches excellent balancing skills. Because it teaches balance, we prefer it to the bikes with training wheels. We purchased one for our next-door neighbor, and her son uses it every day for an hour! It's a fantastic bike for the money, and it makes a fantastic present.
Every time someone sees this bike, they ask where I got it, etc. br>br>My son quickly learned to balance. This is something he does in my apartment as well. His most prized possession. br>br>The bike is extremely durable and attractive. If you're looking for a toddler bike, I highly recommend this one. br>br>I can't think of anything negative to say about it.
My two-and-a-half-year-old niece loves it, and the lowest seat height is just right for her. She's just starting out with her wobbly walking, but I'm sure she'll be zipping around in no time. The best way to transition from a balance bike to a pedal bike; I've had three other nieces and nephews use a balance bike first and then transition to a pedal bike in minutes. Truly!.
It was sold as used, with minor scratches on the outside and no scratches on the inside, but the front wheel was broken.
Our two-year-old is in love with his new bike, which is a great, lightweight starter balance bike that he is riding with confidence and keeping up with his older brother.
It's definitely one to keep.
