I think the cages for the bottles are good, but they're very tight

The holders are perfect for holding water bottles. With camelback insulated bottles, they are a bit firm, but if the ride gets bumpy, I will be glad to know they are keeping their position. It's not a concern for me to retrieve a bottle quickly while riding since I usually only pick one up when I'm stopped.

Considering the Water Buffalo has a lifetime warranty, it seems like a good purchase, even at twice the cost. I have had it for a couple of weeks and so far I have not encountered any problems.
