Questions & Answers

Can this be secured to the top tube of my bike if I have a water bottle on it?

The cage enabled me to mount a water bottle (a Camelbak Podium Big Chill) on my top tube for the Dirty Kanza 200 gravel race. Water never made it out of the bottle, since the terrain was pretty brutal. There is one disadvantage - every now and then my legs would rub against the bottle (maybe once every hour or so). In the front, I had the bottle against the seatpost, at the back, facing the forward direction.

Is it possible to mount this holder in the existing holes for the water bottle?

Mounds like this serve as a means of mounting in areas where there are no holes to make it easy for people to move around. If you want it mounted to holes, you should look for another item.

An insulated water bottle would be nice to mount on my car. A 3 inch diameter bottle is used in the illustration. Is this the right place to put it?

Two is about how big mine is There is 3/4" ID, but it is pretty springy, so you may be able to cram a 3" diameter bottle in there. I am suspicious that the material would be able to handle the load, but it may fatigue after a while. My guess is that the material would be able to handle the load. My regular Sam's Club 20oz clear plastic water bottle with the blue twist off cap has been in mine for quite awhile and I stuff it down, but I have never measured it, and I don't have any on hand to do so. No need to wash it and it can just be placed in the recycling.

Could anyone please tell me if anyone has successfully attached Can the distance between the straps be adjusted?

I've got one on the left fork and two on the stem. I have two different versions on the stem, one higher than the other, but I have a 61cm stem that should be enough. In my opinion, you could mount just one, or maybe none at all, on a short stem. It was a little tricky to do the wrapping, and I cut some off to tidy up everything. Over the winter I forgot to turn them off, but now that we are in high heat again, I am glad I did.

Perfect for a tube of a large size
5/5

June 2019 is the date of the initial review. My wife wanted this holder placed where you can see it in the photos. Thus, I purchased it. In terms of thickness, the tube is quite thick, so your standard clamp style wouldn't This seemed to work for me. A rubber membrane can be seen on the inside of the strap in the photos. Having clean the bike first made it easier for me to install it. If you install it on a dirty bike, the rubber will slide under the dirt and dust. As I was wearing it, I let it sit for about two hours so that the material could My next step was to re-write Ensured the nut was tight. This product performed flawlessly for her that night when she used it with a full bottle. It stayed in place and could be removed and reapplied There are no issues with the insert. As soon as I arrived at home, I repented It was not necessary to tighten it a third time because I could not see any slack being removed. Here is what I will do Follow-up on the following year We'll be up when the time is right. In the end, she is completely satisfied with the product.

The product is of good quality and is priced reasonably
4/5

I believe it is the best you can get for this price. In the event that you cannot or do not wish to drill holes in your frame, your options are In order to stop Velcro from sliding, the opposite side is equipped with a grip. This is a strong enough cable to allow you to tighten it completely. A good cushion surrounds the contact points to prevent the frame from being damaged. So far I haven't run into any problems.

You can hold bottles on your front forks with these great alternatives Trails in Arizona have been tested! Due to the fact that my front suspension forks do not have any bosses for mounting things, I was searching for an alternative to Salsa Anything Cages or similar products
5/5

I found this product to be quite useful and it worked well. I used one on each of my forks when I hiked the Arizona Trail, and they held up well and fit my water bottles just fine as well. They tended to slip on occasion, but you can easily fix this by adding some electrical tape underneath the rubber.

Seattle has plenty of hills for people to ride their e-bikes
4/5

Over the years, I have been riding a road bike with plenty of hills. After getting an ebike for the first time, life has been great. It may seem that there is no place for a water bottle, but yes you do need one since you pedal and for the first 30 miles, I turn off the motor I'm so glad this worked! On top of the tube, there is a flat surface that is rectangular in size. It would be better if these supports were flat, but there is a non slip coating that keeps it from sliding.

It is easy to install, secure and very sturdy
5/5

This Topcage replaced a metal water bottle located behind my seat (that I could not reach with a regular bottle). As my recumbent trike has limited mounting options, I was encouraged when I read the positive reviews for this bike mounting system. I didn't want to drill holes in my bike frame, and this system's ease of installation was just what I needed! It didn't disappoint me at all! The cage fit perfectly on my trike at all locations I tried. The installation and removal process was simple. Thanks to the long Velcro straps, I was able to mount on a variety of Tube sizes easily. It's easy to use, and the Velcro holds quite I have not moved the cage one bit since I set it up Ride over rough terrain even if it's rough. the most effective location for the Topcage to be near the pedals on the front trike post The bottle is easily accessible to me when pedaling, and I can return it securely to the Topcage without any problems. The cage design is very attractive to me. With this cage, I am able to safely secure my bottle much better than with my original cage, where the bottle repeatedly wiggled loose despite A SKS Topcage locks the bottle in place and prevents it from moving! (My water bottle is a Polar 20 oz bottle. ) Despite the fact that I'm not a fan of plastic, I liked it because of the 5-pack We guarantee it for one year! Having purchased the SKS Topcage, I am more than satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it to others. I am being HONEST in my As a reviewer, I was not offered or provided a discount, promotion, or free merchandise.

I was initially concerned, but now I am very satisfied
5/5

The update is It has been a week since I have tried it on both computers and a mobile device A pair of roads and off-road trails There is a solid foundation to hold on to. As soon as I was confident it would hold, I cut off the extra length on the straps, and it looks and works perfect. For a typical-size person, this is the way it should be As for the straps, they are much too long and are designed so that there is no way to use the extra Velcro to their advantage. Velcro is only one inch high on my bike, but the actual part that grips it is about 2 inches high There are five inches in length. I am not sure how long it will last. Additionally, you have to cut off the extra strap in order to make the area look neat. Although it's designed in a way that makes it impossible to continue wrapping the strap around for further grip, it would be nice if it let you do that. My plan is to wear it without cutting off the straps for a week or so. Hopefully, I'll be able to cut them off at this point. It will obviously go back if it doesn't hold.

You can easily stop cage migration by following these steps
5/5

The germans do such a good job on these things. Moreover, the placard that they are attached to is ridiculously sturdy, so I was compelled to find a second purpose for the placard instead of discarding In response to some reviews in which people reported movement in the cages (migration), I also ordered some EZlifego Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty to prevent this. This is an acrylic gel tape (2mm thick, clear, removable, washable) I put one piece on both of the cage contact points I saw two great effects as a result of this. I stuck the cage in place until I could tighten the cinch straps, and afterward it stayed in place. One of the other things is that my cage will My fingers were caught in the straps as I tugged and twisted. Moving in the opposite direction. In any case, I filled mine with Zefal liter bottles and they fit perfectly.

I am amazed
5/5

This is by far the best removable bottle holder that I have ever purchased. Easy to remove and easy to install, seems to last, locks tightly and does not move during active rides. The price tag is worth it compared with cheaper alternatives. On Amazon, you can find inexpensive alternatives.
