About 0. 3 inch.
It's perfect for me because I have a NordicTrack spin bike that sits flat and doesn't roll up when I use it on carpet.
On my mat, I'm exercising with a 304-pound spin bike. Armstrong inlaid linoleum has been used for the flooring. I haven't had any problems with the floor or mat in two months.
Any of these will suffice, but the 30*60 is ideal; I adore my matt. I would strongly suggest it.

(UPDATED) HIGH DENSITY For the Soft version, I gave it 5 stars in my original review: br>br>I purchased the 30x60 size for my wife's new spin bike, and the size and thickness are ideal for keeping the bike in place, adding a slight cushion under the bike, and protecting our expensive wood floor. I would suggest putting something under your machine's feet to help distribute the weight. Our spin bike had large diameter feet from the start, but some machines have very small ones that could push through and damage the mat or floor. I highly recommend this mat and will be purchasing more in the future. br>br>Update (downgraded to 3 stars) after two weeks of use: br>br>As you can see in my photos, using the SOFT version of this mat under my spin bike has reduced the mat to almost nothing under my feet. While it keeps the bike completely stationary, I'm concerned that it will eventually wear through the mat and cause damage to my floor. I'm switching to the High Density version after seeing this after only three rides on the bike. Unless you're putting something on this mat that has a VERY wide footprint, I'd skip the soft version and go straight for the high density, regardless of the type of flooring you have. br>br>UPDATE 3 - br>br>I've now purchased the high density version of the mat, which is extremely shiny as you can see in the photos. It's also incredibly light. Now that I have both mats in my possession, I've decided to keep them both and use them together. I don't like the high density mat's appearance, nor do I like how thin it is, so I stacked the two together, with the high density mat on the bottom, and that appears to have solved my problem. br>br>At the end of the day, this is more money than I wanted to spend on mats, but I'm confident that my floor is now safe. If I hadn't been concerned about the high density version's gleaming plastic appearance, I would have kept it and returned the soft one. And, if you're thinking about stacking them like I did, it turned out to be a great idea. The bike is still rock solid, so you wouldn't even notice the shiny mat is under there if it weren't for the extra protection. br>br>If this review was helpful to you in any way, please help me out by clicking the Helpful button below. Choosing a mat to go beneath my Peloton took a long time. I was very picky as I read through the reviews. However, I'm here to say this one because of my particular preferences. The thickness and quality are both excellent. It should be thick enough to dampen noise and protect the floor, but not so soft that the bike becomes unbalanced or tipsy. It does not have a large, obnoxious logo. When I rolled it out, there was no odor. You've come to the right place if you're looking for a mat to go beneath your exercise bike. Put this one in your cart and go about your business, safe in the knowledge that you've chosen one that will meet your requirements.
During my installation, the Peloton installers said this mat was "much better than the Peloton one. " For me, that is sufficient. After a month of use, I'm happy with my purchase. I've got the bike on this mat, which is on a fairly thick carpet, and it's moving freely. It's all good.
When first opened, the product has a slight odor. The only thing that bothers me is when I buy something to exercise with a label that says *Warning: Cancer and Reproductive Harm" is a phrase used to describe the effects of cancer on br>br>I understand that everything will kill us at some point, but can't we buy products that aren't off-putting? gas and endanger us? Perhaps if the seller had been more transparent, I would have reconsidered my purchase.
Mat is marketed as a wind trainer for bicycles. When I stepped on this mat with my cleats for the first time, it tore. br>I suppose you get what you pay for in this case. The mat is of poor quality and was purchased for a low price. 1 Star! br>However, I received a full refund within 24 hours of leaving a one-star review. Thank you for taking the time to read this. br>.
To make the carpet ride more stable, we placed it on top of plywood. It's fantastic!.
I bought this mat to go underneath my Peloton bike, and it's the perfect size. It's a little thinner than I expected, but that hasn't stopped it from working. When I'm wearing my clipped bike shoes, I always take extra care to step gently. They appear to have the potential to damage the mat if I am not careful, but I have yet to encounter this issue. This appears to be a good exercise mat, so I'm thinking about getting another one.
