Bike shorts are not as normal as they seem

Despite my size being a large (I'm 5'3 and 132), they fit fine EXCEPT they came with Bib Bike shorts instead of regular bike As a result of the pain in my back, I can't wear Bibs. In no part of the product description does it indicate that they come with bibs. The product is disappointing and I have to return it.
