It is important to be race ready. When I was riding in the drops, I was surrounded by my friends and neighbors wearing this jersey and it surprised me because it was made of quality silky fabric with lots of stretch. Bright colors add a sense of beauty to the room. It is very fit and true to size. I went by the size chart and ordered my usual size "Medium". I like it because it is not uncomfortable and because it has plenty of stretch and is fitted. It is recommended you order one size up if you do not want your jersey to be a "Racer fit". It takes 5'10" for me to reach the top of the ladder. To give you an idea of my height, I am 6'1" and weigh 127 lbs. I normally wear a women's size 8 shirt.
However, I do. Despite being a pretty nice jersey, it's way too long and oversized. It came below the buttocks of someone like me, who is 6'2". There is a LOT of tightness in the hip elastic. My weight is about 136 lbs and my height is about 5'8" The bust measurement is 39 inches, the waist is 40 inches The hip measurement is 41 inches. In fact, the bottom of the jersey is much smaller than my waist, and it is not cut to fit a woman's hips. I have attached photos showing the length, bust, and waist. The hips in the size Large are too big for me. As far as the waist elastic is concerned, it is unwearable due to the loose fit at the chest and shoulders, and perfect around the arms. It is going back to Amazon, so I'm glad I purchased a pattern advertised for Prime with free returns.
Having trouble finding jerseys in my size, and a delivery date that is still so far off of my order, I hesitated to even order. This item came 4 weeks in advance of the estimated delivery date, and it fits Since I have been riding in this jersey for almost 150 miles and washing it at least seven times, it is almost beyond repair I used this product for 8 times with no fading or peeling of the color.
I am 128 pounds and 5' 5" and I found the SMALL jersey to be very comfortable. I still love it even though the sleeves are a bit tighter than my other jerseys. There is vibrancy in the colors. After riding in it (6) times, I'm confident about the zippers' strength. Keeping the shirt in place is made easier with deep pockets on the bottom of the shirt and a strip of plastic on the bottom. The item I purchased was the right one for me!.
The quality is good for the price and it is a good length.
A good fit is what I'm looking for. It turned out to be a smaller size for me (I normally wear a small). I ordered a medium because I have purchased many items like this in the past that have been too small.
In the small size I ordered (which I normally wear), the shirt was awfully tight. As a result, I exchanged for a large (which I never wear). I was shocked by the size of the large! It was attempted to exchange the large for the medium, but the seller would not do so. Despite its cuteness and great quality, the jersey is not as satisfied as it could be.
My favorite thing about this shirt is how well it fits and how beautiful it looks. Although it took two months to get our order, we were better off.
