Questions & Answers
It's made of the same material as Under Armour's cold gear. Inside, a thin layer of soft fleece-like material is sandwiched between the smooth outer layer and the smooth outer layer.
Yes, there is wind. Water is a topic on which I am unsure. It had been given to me as a present.
Yes, it's big and squishy, and it partially conceals the ears. In the summer, I use it to prevent sweat from dripping onto the gears and rusting them.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. However, I am aware that the material is quite thick, much thicker than other caps I have purchased online, and that the headband portion is double the thickness to absorb sweat. It blocks a lot of light when I hold it up to the light, far better than thinner materials.

Tesla never fails to impress. This hat can be worn with or without a [helmet] liner. It's especially good if you're going to be active, like going to a game on a Friday night in sub-zero temperatures. Is it really 0 degrees outside? Top it off with a thicker cap. Do you want to shovel snow? Are you ready for a snowball fight? On its own, it is perfect. How do I know if it's a bicycle ride? What exactly is it that you're having a problem with? br>The circumference of my head is 22 5/8". This hat has a little give to it and is a perfect fit for me. I strongly advise you to do so.
I use it for pickleball in extremely cold temperatures (27 degrees), and it keeps my bald head toasty warm even when I'm sweating. I adore this item; my son gave it to me as a gift (in black), and I went out and purchased the royal blue and army green versions as well. It's light on my head as well, but the tight fit makes it difficult to use with reading glasses. To get the glasses arms over my ears, I need to flip the sides up. That's something I can live with at this price.
I believe it would be appropriate to wear it inside another hat, but not on its own. (looks like a swimming hat)br>br>*updated* I tried to return it, but it said "not eligible for return. " This resulted in a one-star reduction.
I've been wearing a separate hat and neck gator, which is clumsy and doesn't keep its shape after being adjusted. This skull cap is essentially a fleece-lined fitted cap. balaclava with lining, which is much more practical. I bought it in a hurry and didn't realize until afterward that it exposed the back of my neck. I debated whether or not to return it, and I'm glad I didn't. This item is warm, windproof, and retains its shape even after being adjusted. My jacket was also long enough that the wind on the back of my neck didn't bother me. The only issue is that the ear flaps curl up and make a silly appearance. However, I'm fairly certain it's due to the fact that my head is on the smaller side. My final observation is directed at the manufacturer: I wish it came in brighter colors or was reflective to make it more visible to oncoming traffic, especially since it is advertised as a running shoe.
The only complaint I have is that the face mask part is very tight on your face and is made of a thick material, making it difficult to breathe through it. To use it while biking, I'll need to cut a few holes/slits in it. I had only gotten about a mile into my ride when I had to take the mask off. br>br>With the exception of the breathing issue, this is a fantastic cap. The material didn't feel uncomfortable even when I was working out and sweating a lot, and it fit my helmet perfectly. The outer layer is thick enough to keep the wind at bay and keep your head warm, but not so thick that you get too hot. I'll post an update once I've been out in some really cold weather, but I don't expect any problems given how well it performed at 37 degrees with 20-foot visibility. Strong winds of 30 miles per hour.
The stitching is excellent, the materials are comfortable to wear, and the head remained warm. Good job on the cap!.
I've always been pleased with Tesla products, and I needed another winter running hat to complement my other beanie, so I'm not using this as a helmet liner. Advantages: br>br> It's cheap, it's warm (it's best for temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees Fahrenheit), and it's simple to use. 40 degrees Fahrenheit), and it does an excellent job of wicking moisture away from my head. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. Depending on your head size, it may be a little short, but it doesn't quite cover my entire ear; I hung mine to dry after a run on a plastic clip hanger, and it appears to have mildewed under the clip. Except for the fact that it was a white hat, it would have gone unnoticed.
I use it as a running hat, and while my head may be too small, I end up looking like a monk because of the way the cap is sewn together. It's like little horns on my hand, and the ear flaps make it stand out. br>br>Aside from the aesthetics, I really like this cap. Even when I'm sweating profusely, it doesn't get too wet or cold, and it keeps my ears toasty warm even when I lift the flaps to insert my ear buds. I've run in temperatures as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing this cap, and it keeps me very warm. br>br>However, it is not at all stylish.
