Actually, it is surprising to me that the "S/M" fits, since another style I own fits just as well in the It's funny how that works! When I run, I wear an 11 in running shoes. I generally wear a woman's size 10, but I wear an 11 in most shoes. In terms of scale, it's roughly equivalent to what a man's 9 looks like. This is a great fit!.

Running with these caused blisters When cycling, everything seems to be fine

My first experience with them was while I was participating in a duathlon. I think they are well suited for cycling but caused blisters when I was The shoes did not work at all when I was doing a track workout. . . I ended up getting blisters again. That means those socks will be placed in the pile called "bike socks".

A new pair of pirate socks is to die for

The shoes that I wear are a size 10. I purchased a S/M and it fits perfectly. It has a fun message stitched into its sole, as do most of the socks from SockGuy. These are worth buying only if you don't mind being dirty and going on "dirty pirate hooker". It is fun to play them.
