Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this elbow sleeve in conjunction ?

The pants stretch enough that they should work with a knee brace, but I haven't used them with one. It may be difficult for them to stay in place, however.

In these, what size would I probably choose if I wear a XL Castelli bib? Could you please tell me if I'm ?

Brands vary little in sizing when it comes to cycling gear. Then you definitely need an XL knee warmer, since you wear a bib/short of the same size. an extreme track racer with quads and hamstrings the size of a tree.

Is it for women only or are they also for men?

can work for men and women alike as they are unisex. In my opinion, however, they are more of a men's size.

When sizing knee warmers, what do you consider to be the correct size?

After I read this comment, it was very helpful to me. Therefore, I decided to order an extra small size for me since I am female. What I read has helped me, and I hope it does the same for you A typical year for me entails about 7000 miles of cycling. Since I've been using knee warmers for over a decade, I have used a handful of different brands. There seem to be some common flaws in all of them Riding down, they hurl themselves into the air. We wrote this review to help you determine the size you need. The tallest thing I am is 6' 6" and the heaviest is 180 pounds. Around the bottom of my warmer, where it comes to my calf, I measure about 15", and around my thigh (mid thigh) I measure My size is small. I wear them under fairly tight cycling shorts, they slide down slightly, but remain in place throughout the ride. However, some times during a 50 mile ride, they did slip down a little. I stop and pull them up when I ride. Here are some tips to help you. Keep yourself safe on the road.

My husband suffers from knee pain, and this is a good product for him
4/5

It's pretty comfortable to wear these knee warmers, and they provide warmth. The struts do slide down a bit, but not enough to cause him concern. The knees of his socks remained warm during the snow two days ago. He considers it to be of utmost importance. In my opinion, here's a View the size chart for Pearl Izumi to learn which size is recommended for my husband. We were very surprised to learn that we need to order a medium. Despite his size, he is a very good looking man. Our first thought was to go for as large a size as possible. As long as you follow the size chart, you will find this outfit fits well.

Wear tight fitting bike shorts to get the most out of it
4/5

They seem to do what I wanted them to do, although some of them tend to slide down after a long ride. The knee warmers have a gripper strip on the exterior which is supposed to grip the tight bike shorts in order to keep them in place. The shorts I am wearing are a bit loose in the thighs so the system does not work as well as it could. Maybe the gripper strip on the inside of the warmers would pull hairs out or something else uncomfortable? I would have preferred to use the gripper on the inside of the warmers so it would grip my skin and not my shorts? In my next purchase of bike shorts, I plan to find some that fit my thighs tight, so I believe the system will have been improved.

Knit warmers are not to be used
3/5

Knee warmers were not included in the package. A headband that was Lululemon was sent to me and I requested a replacement. A second headband was sent and I was unable to return it. I find it impossible to review this product since it does not seem to be available.

They would be much more useful if they did not move! As with my recent Pearl Izumi purchases, these knee warmers have been nothing short of amazing, at least until I started walking around before my ride in them
3/5

They provide a lot of extra warmth, and they provide great comfort. They don't want to stay in place when we need warmth for our knees and calves! I can pull these up as high as I want and they still slide down your thigh within minutes. Since these only slip so far, and stay put (because my cycling shorts prevent them from slipping past my knee), it does not constitute a deal breaker (thus 3 stars), but when you stop and walk around, they would be easily slipped out of place. I just want to caution you that you'll probably need to adjust these all the time.

My bike trips each year are 7000 miles like everyone else's

The situation is so-so
3/5

However, these are not very stable. They work well to keep you warm but do not seem to stay on your body. Falling down is always a problem for them. In order to keep them from riding up, I have to twist the upper hem, which is very Alternatively, you can sweat it off and then it will stay on your body. The shorter ones will work better if you have the skin tight cycling pants and place the upper hem under the upper short run. If you don't like having the pad up your bum and circulation cutoff, then these will work better with mountain bike shorts. Rather than pants, I'd like to get some leggings.

The company has only been used a few times so far, but at this point I am very happy with their service
5/5

I had some difficulty figuring out where to place them in order to prevent slippage at first. In my case, the covers need to cover the knee and pass just below it. They have been solid as a rock ever since I figured that out. When I go on a bike ride that starts out at 30 F and ends at 60 F, I wear these. The company has only been used a few times so far, but at this point I am very happy with their service. Rolling them up and fitting into my backpack when I am not using them is convenient.

The dress does not ride down despite the great length
5/5

In my experience, it's difficult to get a good grip on them due to the exposed seams that poke my inner thighs. However, after listening to a few reviews, I realized they're very comfortable. A slight adjustment was all it took to fix it, and I never felt enjoy the length of the warmer, which allows me to tuck them away under my bib shorts as low as my calves without having to worry about them riding down during a ride. I'm planning on buying another pair of them since they kept my leg extremely warm throughout the whole organized ride.
