I have no idea why this is, it may be because more cyclists order the small, in which case, more are made this size. I, however, am a large leg guy, so I ordered medium, and it fit just fine. That time, I did not pay $80. Make sure you exhaust the online retailer's section of Amazon before placing an order.

There is something odd about the fit of these knee warmers. 5 466 pounds is the weight of a woman who stands at 5'6". I ordered a small, even though my thigh measurement indicated that I should purchase an extra small, but after reading that the knee warmers run small, I sized up to an extra It is a bit loose on top, but very tight on the bottom of the leg warmers. Although I tugged at them to try and lift them, I was unable to move them over my calves so that the top of the boots There are actually not that many large calves in my herd. There is no way I can wear these knee warmers.
My measurements on the Garneau web site indicate that I should have been a small, however the medium was completely unusable due to its excessive tightness. The material is also not very nice. There are times when Garneau stuff strikes me as great, and there are times when it strikes me as.
This pair of shoes does not have grippers on the bottom. By the time I got to my knee, the top had bunched behind my leg and was riding up my leg. This design leaves a lot to be desired. If I return I'll try Pearl Izumi knee warmers or go back to my Gore Bike knee warmers.
This is what I wear when I go for a morning ride. At the onset of the 25 mile ride, it was 59 degrees and the temperature at the end was 65 degrees. My ride lasted about five hours. After finishing the ride, I concluded that I needed to order something warmer for future The color is so beautiful. Whenever you ride in traffic, yellow gets the attention of other drivers. I liked the fit very much. Neither of them slipped nor got loose while I was wearing them. After about half way through my ride, my knees felt cold. They felt like my knees were wicking moisture, and the moisture had frozen on the outside of my knee I can only find black knee warmers that are thermal. It would be nice to have some in yellow while I am cycling to catch the attention of drivers. I'm sure these would be great for anything else as well.
The size of these is about half of a Considering the products I purchased, the next size up would be too big and the size I bought was a bit too tight but usable nonetheless. This is a Large size for me. I am six feet tall and 200 pounds.
The knee warmers seemed a little bulky, so I wondered if they'd be warm at all. There's no need to worry. Yesterday I rode a bicycle in freezing temperatures and wind chills below zero. Keeping the knees warm wasn't a problem.
The only thing I am not is a cyclist the only thing I am is In order to prevent chafing, I bought these knee warmers to place under my knee brace. The are perfect for the job. This provides a good compromise of thickness and thinness and allows them to stay in place.
During cycle rides (sprints, hills) they're always on the go. The mediums fit nicely for me. I normally wear 32 pants and have decent leg size (not quite a pro cyclist level), but I am fairly muscular otherwise. I have never had any difficulty with them after cycling (sprints and hills). I then tried wearing them while playing tennis and forgot about it - both the bottom and top fell off after a couple of minutes. As a result, they are one of my favorite bike parts.
