This hat has been worn repeatedly over a long period of time and still looks good. In addition to being stylish, it also fits with the majority of my kits, and I get tons of compliments when I wear it. The first cycling cap I ever bought Still a favorite. There is no doubt that this is retro. It says exactly what I was thinking, that I am a fan of the 80's. I have a really small head, so it's not an issue for me, but if it was a touch smaller, it would be bothersome. It has a full elastic around the inside band, which is great if you have a big head. There is a Cinelli inscription on the inside of the bill, as well as the side. It comes with a small clip and hook, so perhaps for drying. Wearing this at the gym works great, and it doesn't leave a cloud of sweat over my eyes like some glasses do.
The item was made in the United States. Yes, of course. craftsmanship is premier and I love it, but they (the makers) need to have a large size. Not only is the headband too tight, but also the cap needs more volume so that it doesn't sit across the top of my head, but can be pulled down to my ears. As a whole, I like the cap and I'm sure you'll also like it if you have a small head. Those of us who eat large should get a large-sized one.
The material is very cool to wear and wicks away As for the brim of the hat, it is not covered in any softer material so don't expect it to be like a sweatband or even a ball cap in the slightest. This hat is actually just brim and hat material attached to one another. When the visor is flipped up, I can see how it might be uncomfortable. However, I drove 60 miles a lot with it up about 60% of the time and never had any issues. This does add a bit of snugness to the helmet, so I would recommend these hats for people that consistently wear them and adjust their helmet in accordance with them.
