They are good. This pair, as well as the matching elbows, cost me $60. I found the fit to be good. During our trip to Tahoe, we wore them for 3 days. I owe them a lot of thanks because they saved my tailbone. In the rock garden in Downieville, went way too fast. Had the time to think about trying to land on the pads and thought that the pads could hold me up. In perfect execution, I landed first with pads. I scattered the derailleur and tacoed the lever, leaving me with a bruise on my upper arm where the pads didn't cover. I didn't experience a single bit of pain in my Over the three days, I only had to readjust the knees a few times. There is no doubt that you feel like you're wearing pads, but in general, I'd say they're Although I left the calf-wraps in place on the climb, I did not feel If they were just a little cooler, they would be perfect, but for the price, they are a There is a set of more substantial pads at home, but I do not wear them nearly as often since they are not as comfortable as this pair.
Fox has a great fit chart available on its website which allows every rider to get a perfect fit. These kneepads offer great protection and a really comfortable fiteven Compared to other Fox products, this one does not have a hard shell protection inside, so it isn't as good for rough landings. Nevertheless, they are highly recommended for trail and enduro riding. You can find the Fox Pro downhill if you are a downhiller.
The items I ordered were older models that I had no idea they were. The fault is somewhat mine, but I should have been called out earlier. A few minor improvements have been made to the durability and padding of the new model. As for myself, I don't go down much, but these are my go-to knee pads for my local trail systems. My knee feels supported and I almost forget they're on. I like the comfort and compression they give. It is misleading to call these Enduro level riding knee pads by that name. It shouldn't happen, so don't expect it. It is fine to ride XC or Trail with them. The Fox Launch knee pads are the best option for people looking for an actual Enduro level knee pad.
It would be nice if they curled more around the interthigh. Each time I eat it, I get hit on the inter-knee by the bike. The pads are warm during the cold winter months, so long pants are not necessary. With Fox equipment, there is no way to go wrong.
This is a great model for warmer weather. It blew out a jump on first use and spared at least some scraped skin if not all. It was a pleasure to speak with.
Having owned a large, it was way too small so I purchased an XL. Although the shirt fits better, the top is slipping For it to be held up, it needs a velcro strap. I don't really like the temperature. It's a little too warm.
There are some protections there, but not many. The Leatts were the only option I kept after ordering a few different options.
The shoes are quite comfortable I am quite pleased with them so far. They are decently breathable, though I tend to carry them on my hip pack on the way up and put them on on the way back.
