I purchased this for my daughter, who is 7 and a bit tall for her age group, and it fits her perfectly after a few washes. Although I air dry, I do have to use a hair dryer.

Rather than say it's a child's hat, it says "it's a hat for children. ". Having just spent $40 on a hat for children, it seems outrageous to me.

I love it. The yarn is nice and thick. Injuries are expected in my 2 1/2 year old's hands next winter due to the fit of this winter's jacket. The large pom pom is of great quality and I like the way it looks.
