Although they are awesome, the stitching in the finger tips is not reinforced, and the gloves unravel as they stretch. Thanks to my design skills and fixing abilities, I am a good sewer and fixer.
Unlike padded bicycle gloves, these do not have padding. The suit is appropriately sized for a child, and the fit is good as well. The gloves haven't been used yet, but we bought them in order to protect our son's hands on long bike rides as he gets blisters and sores. Formerly a distance road biker myself, I found that padding on my gloves was vital in areas like the palms and between thumb n forefingers. It's a 5 out of 5.
