A faulty bracket was delivered. The brackets have holes in them that go over the black knobs on the stroller frame. One side of the frame was not flush with the other. When we stacked the brackets side by side, the left bracket's hole was clearly smaller than the right bracket's hole. The bracket was no longer able to fit over the knob as a result of this. To make it the same size as the one on the other bracket, my husband had to grind out the plastic. It now functions properly and appears to be in good condition; the blue clip is what keeps it in place, so I'm not concerned. I like how the bar articulates, because it makes it easier for me to get my son in and out. Overall, I like the bar, but it took more effort and tools to get it to work than I anticipated, especially given the price.
It was a breeze to set up. It's also very simple to operate with just one hand. It appears to be quite durable. I just wish the Thule Urban Glide 2 had this bumper bar as standard. Oh, well.
I can see why this piece isn't cheap once I open the box. The design and I Uluru, on the other hand, make it well worth the money; my daughter enjoys putting her feet up on it or grabbing it with her hands. It's also possible to attach toys to it. I don't need to open and close it very often anymore, but I do like that it opens on both sides and swivels out of the way.
It accomplishes the objective. It should, however, have come with the stroller, and it is pricey on its own.
It is absolutely necessary. It serves its purpose and is made of a soft material. It appeals to my toddler, who also scratches it: )br>br>I'm not sure why this isn't included in a high-end stroller.
I ordered this twice, with different batch numbers, and both are defective!.
For the Thule Urban Glider, this is a durable, functional, and stylish grab bar. My only complaint is the price; otherwise, it's a great addition for added safety, a grab bar for your child, and the ability to attach toys to it.
The $700 stroller came without a bumper bar, which is a disappointment in and of itself. The bumper bar is made of metal, but it's covered in a cheap stretchy fabric that attracts dog hair like a magnet. The bumper bar isn't particularly impressive, but my child enjoys holding on to it on her uppababy (which was leather and included).
