Questions & Answers

What's the difference between this model and the previous one (in terms of radius)? Apart from the brake, what distinguishes this model from the Activ3?

On older models, the frame was made entirely of aluminum, whereas on newer models, the frame was made entirely of aluminum and plastic. The wheels are made of metal rather than plastic, and the spokes are metal.

Is it compatible with the keyfit30 child car seat?

Yes, it clicks into place. This is something we use on a regular basis outside. I know you didn't ask, but if you plan on using it for shopping or the mall, I recommend using another one because this one is extremely large and difficult to maneuver in large crowds. For that, we have a chicco caddy, which we adore!

Is a chicco keyfit2 car seat adapter required?

The infant seat can be easily removed from the car base and placed in the stroller, facing the person pushing it. The jogger is great because the infant seat fits without having to disassemble any of the stroller's components. You can lean the stroller seat back thanks to a small latch on the back side of the stroller. The infant seat is then simply secured to the stroller frame. It's very simple and the instructions explain everything. We are the parents of a five-month-old baby. The Chicco Bravo Travel System, which includes the Keyfit2 infant seat, was the first item we purchased. We then bought a jogging stroller, which was perfect for the keyfit2 infant seat. We now only use the jogger because it provides our son with such a comfortable ride. The jogger's only drawback is its size and weight. It doesn't fold down to a very small size, so if you're trying to fit it into a small car, it might not be the best option; however, we have a truck and a midsized SUV, so the size isn't an issue for us. However, this stroller is a fantastic buy, and I would strongly recommend it.

The Chicco Tre was the most well-made of the group
5/5

I've been an avid jogger for several years, so when my daughter was born, a jogging stroller was a must-have item. I went to Babies R Us to see some of the strollers in person after spending several days researching the various options available on the market. The Chicco Tre stroller had the best build quality of all the strollers I tested. In my opinion, it's better than the more expensive BOBs. It's heavy, but that's a good thing in my opinion. The front wheel locking mechanism is very strong, as are the bearings. It has a number of features that I find particularly useful: br>1) Considering its size, it folds up very small; I drive a sedan, and it fits in my trunk. The folding mechanism is simple to operate and can be done with just one hand. br>2) The brake and parking brake are extremely useful - br>3) The tires are easy to inflate and hold air well, so you don't have to worry about the stroller rolling or picking up too much speed on hills. br>4) The parent tray isn't huge, but it fits my phone, keys, and my child's pacifier, which is all I need it for. br>5) The suspension is adjustable and works flawlessly. Because our neighborhood is wooded and our driveway is unpaved, I needed a stroller that could handle the bumps while also not jarring my daughter. 6) My Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat is extremely easy to install and remove. br>7) The stroller glides along smoothly and isn't too heavy to run with. It gave me a little push that I wasn't used to, but that's to be expected. br>br>Although the stroller was simple to assemble, it took my husband an hour to dial it in and adjust the brakes. Probably not necessary, but he's a mechanic, so small details are important to him. br>br>Overall, I really like it!.

Chico vs
3/5

Bob: who will win? The Chico is a complete waste of money. For the past two years, I've been using this stroller. It's been our extra stroller for the majority of that time, so it hasn't seen much use. This purchase has left me feeling a little underwhelmed overall. Make sure you don't throw your money away! Invest in a Bob with the extra cash. I own both this and a Bob stroller, and the quality difference is significant while the price difference is minor. br>br>The Chico stroller has a terrible breaking mechanism that is weak at best (only breaks one of the back wheels, spinning the stroller on a steep incline) and fails at worst (our break no longer works at all), as well as a horrible squeak and rubs at times. On the other hand, the Bob has a foot brake that completely stops both wheels. Advantages: br>br> The Chico stroller's compatibility with the Chico car seat is one of its best features, and it's why I bought it in the first place. However, looking back, I wish I had purchased the Bob adapter. The Chico also has easily adjustable handles and a front wheel that can be quickly switched from walking to jogging mode. The rider appears to be at ease in the seat. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. In comparison to our Bob, the parts feel cheap, and the ride is more wobbly, particularly when jogging. The folding mechanism on this Chico stroller is also a pain. It's awkward because you twist a handle away from you while pulling towards you at the same time. It does have an easily adjustable back rest, which is nice for sleeping kids, but the sun shade is lacking. It's far too small, and it pales in comparison to the Bob and even our travel umbrella stroller. br>br>Another oddity is the tire tubes and wheel size, which makes it difficult to fit a standard bike pump into the space between the rim and the spikes due to the size of the front wheel and spokes. Another reason why this product is badly designed and overpriced.

worth it
5/5

You're not going to be let down. We placed an order for a product that came with a damaged box. I was able to get a small discount on my purchase. My husband's desire to spend $400 on a stroller had me convinced he was insane, but I'm blown away. With a few odd spots, assembly was mostly intuitive. My only gripe is that I never seem to be able to do the "one hand opening" - and that's only a minor niggle. It's a little big. It's big and heavy, but it's built to last! Despite the fact that I have to launch it into the backs of the cars, it takes a beating and keeps going. it appears to be brand new Wild. Space isn't an issue because my husband owns a van. My Toyota compact SUV has a small hatchback-style interior. It fits perfectly without removing anything or requiring any unusual adjustments. The cargo basket is a letdown, but the standard diaper bag ("Big Lady") fits on its side, and our smaller backpack style diaper bag slides in. The security of the cargo is surprising. At the handlebar, there is a cup holder. eh. OK. It has a capacity of two water bottles. Coffee in a paper cup with a flimsy lid is not a good idea because keys/phone bounce around a lot. The sun/weather shade is my favorite part of the room. We took Babe to a holiday festival, but it rained the entire time. sleet. She managed to avoid getting wet. She could still see what was going on in front of her. Over the last two decades, I've owned a number of jogging strollers. This is the Big Daddy of them all. We've seen it on the streets, on the sidewalks, in parades, in the sun, in the snow, and in the sleet. hiking in the rain Trails that are flat and shopping We walk to the fairgrounds, state parks, beaches, church, and pretty much anywhere else we can walk. It's a little bulky for inside things (some doors aren't wide enough, but if they're legal for wheelchairs, it won't be an issue), but it maneuvers like a dream, so the size isn't an issue unless you're stuck in a strange aisle or doorway. Because she's higher up, Babe enjoys it even more than her regular chicco. will be able to sit more upright tl; tl; tl; tl; tl; tl; tl; tl worth it. You're not going to be let down.

Beware - Without replacing the entire assembly, you can't fix a leak on the front wheel
3/5

When you call Chicco customer service, they say, "Sorry, you are unable to repair the front wheel. "br>br>When you call customer service, they say, "Sorry, you are unable to repair the front wheel. " However, we can provide you with a brand new front assembly. "br>br>They also only offer a one-year warranty, so if you're like the vast majority of people who buy a stroller before having a child, you'll be a few months into the warranty before you start using it frequently. br>br>The stroller is nice, but I'm not going to spend $100 and a week of shipping to fix a $5 problem that will take 5 minutes to fix. Beware. This is a piece of nonsense that you should not buy.
