This is a car seat that fits one child from the age of infant to toddler and stays in the vehicle.

There isn't a foundation for it. As far as I'm aware, most (if not all) convertible car seats don't come with bases because they're too big/heavy for them; I believe bases are only used for infant car seats (though I could be wrong). That being said, this car seat is extremely simple to install, taking no more than 5 minutes, and as far as convertible car seats go, the transition from one vehicle to another is not difficult. We are very pleased with it and purchased a second one for our second car to make it easier to transport our child from one vehicle to the next.

That was exactly what I was looking for. The best seat for a baby is a jogging stroller. br>br>I like how this seat has a lot of options. All of them have been explained in the reviews. You will enjoy this seat if you give it a try. The seat is made of combined steel, which is why it is so heavy. As a previous Diono customer who had steel-framed seats, this was an important feature I wanted to keep. br>I wish I could have stayed with Diono, but it's too tall when rear-facing, making first-row seating uncomfortable for y'all. br>br>I prefer a sturdy steel seat to a completely plastic seat that releases gases, especially during the hot summer months. It also lacks a fire-retardant component! Yay! I've been using it with my other children for many years. It has no effect on the seat's safety. br>br>Excellent value for a fully loaded slim seat, with a 40% discount. I was able to get two for the price of one. br>br>Consbr>br>The bottom is a smooth, plastic-covered base. No Grids. There is no rubber edge on this product. I followed the instructions for forward facing mode by threading the seat belt through the back of the seat and tightening it, but the car seat still slid when only using the seat belt. To keep it from sliding, I had to use the safety LATCH, which keeps the seat from moving.
Not every child car seat is created equal. My daughter used to despise riding in the car; for the first year of her life, we had a cheap seat, and as soon as we bought this, she no longer despises being in the car; It's simple to understand why! The seat is extremely cozy and comfortable, as well as well-built, and you can tell it does an excellent job of protecting your child in the event of an accident. This unit has far superior side-impact padding than any other child seat I've seen. One note: This thing has a lot of meat on it. It's heavy, so if at all possible, avoid transporting it between cars. I would strongly suggest it.
This is a car seat I adore. Yes, even more so than my Britax! It's easier to get my son out of it because he doesn't sit as deep as he does in the britax. It includes a rebound bar, which adds to its stability. It isn't as big as other car seats. It's very easy to keep the material clean. Colors are nice choices. If I had this carseat first, there's no doubt I would have purchased only this for both my children and my vehicles. This is a fantastic car seat that I would highly recommend. It's an investment that's well worth it.
The seat in this car does not recline far enough. My baby's head drops forward when she sleeps.
In Grandma's car, we needed a second car seat. This is a great size for both grandkids.
We do drive a Toyota Tundra, thank God, or I wouldn't know how to fit all three car seats.
Looking at the pictures, I was unsure if it extended far enough on the sides, but I placed my child inside and am confident he is safe. It is something he adores. The padding is excellent, and it has a sturdy/safe feel to it. Because we enjoyed the first one so much, I purchased a second one.
This is a well-made car seat. It's great that it isn't too big! It fits nicely in the back row of my car, next to two other car seats. It appears to be a hit with my kids. It adapts to your child in this way.
