Sorry about that. As you can see from the marketing photo provided by DYEDBRO, the bike is largely covered by the print. DYEDBRO always includes clear downtube protectors, however. It is probably trying to show what the design looks like better, so I assume they took photos of the bike with more protectors. To install correctly, you will need a hairdryer 100% of the time. This material is very stiff/thick, which provides great protection for the frame. Even though you can use a heat gun to install the material, heat makes it more pliable and also makes it easier to get the micro bubbles out with the squeegee provided. Tubes of this size will be very easy to install. The installation of pieces to contours and curves of carbon road bikes (small tubes) will take more effort. If you're planning to install the pieces BEFORE trimming out any eyelets and mountings, test fit them and trim around them. As long as you did not apply much heat, you can easily remove and stick the protective film again if you are not careful.

A cover for an old 1988 Trek. I bought it to cover up some dings. Several pieces had to be cut since the tube is designed for thicker tubes on a mountain bike. However, it still It was very easy to install and I'm impressed by the quality of the material.
