There are no abrasives in this liquid; instead, it's a very light liquid that buffs out to a subtle, clean finish. I'm not sure if it contains any carnuba wax. Giving your bike a little "pop" after you've washed it is nice. " You can rest assured that your bike is in good hands.
Cleaning around the inside of the wheel while avoiding the brake track is possible. It can be made to look very sleek with the polish!
That is an excellent query. That never occurred to me! All I know is that it looks fantastic on my matte carbon bike frame. The bottle does not list the ingredients, but it does include a warning if it gets into your eyes or other sensitive areas. To get specifics, I believe you'll have to ask the company. That is, if they are willing to share their information with you.
There are a plethora of vehicle polish sprays that are significantly less expensive. Always perform a two-stage procedure. After cleaning, apply a barrier.

So I bought a matte dark blue bike, and after two weeks, I realized that keeping it clean and looking sharp was a real pain. After a year, I came across this Pedro's Bike Lust website. Wow! It's fantastic! It will give your matte bike just enough shine to make it look great while still allowing you to tell it's a matte, not a glossy, bike; the protective layer will also help keep fingerprints off the frame, making cleaning up dirt and grease easier. You should spray this onto a rag and then wipe it onto your bike rather than spraying it directly onto the bike. It might end up in places you don't want it (like brakes). It's a lot easier to manage and apply just to get your lint-free. Using a damp rag, rub it into the skin. Now, whenever I clean my bike, I spend a few minutes at the end spraying it with Bike Lust, and it has never looked better!.
I like how it cleaned and polished my bike, which has a Black Matte finish, but I think I made a mistake by using it on my tires. It left the tires very shiny, but I believe it may have affected the way it works because I've had my bike since July and have never fallen off of it, but today on my way to Papajohns, I had 2 cartons of Passionfruit on the left side of the handle bar and as I approached a red light at full speed (30mph), as I braked to stop, the handlebar miraculously spun out and sent me flying off, but thank God I only hurt my hands and I'm not sure what's happened.
It's simple to use, and it smells great! My bike was also left with a nice texture. If you spray it on a microfiber towel, you'll get better results with no or very few streaks. For my wheels and other non-sensitive components, I'll use the Green Fizz.
I didn't think a spray could deliver the results I was looking for. I'm very pleased with the results after using this product for a month on my three carbon fiber bikes. In one simple step, it cleans and polishes to a brilliant shine. In addition, I can now ride a bike in half the time it used to take me. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
When I clean one of my bikes completely, I use this product. I use it all over, except on brake disks, to help repel dirt and muck and make the cleaning process easier the next time. Makes your bike's wheels and tires shine and adds that extra bit of bling that makes it stand out and maybe, just maybe, go a little faster. (Yes, I use it on wheels and tires, but I clean braking surfaces thoroughly before riding, and you should as well. )br>Oh, and I haven't tried it on matte finish paint jobs, but a friend from a bike company recommends acetone to clean grease and other gunk off matte finishes. You'll have to put in a little more effort.
This is what I use on my 2005 Raleigh Supercourse 57cm road bike, which looks amazing after using Pedro's. But it wasn't until a year or three later that I discovered this product, and when I did, I was blown away by the instant shine, long lasting protection, and ability to restore the appearance of anything!.
My bikes are clean after being washed with soap, but after spraying this on a towel and rubbing it on the bike, it looks brand new. This is what I use on a matte black and matte green bike, and while it is a little pricey for what it is, it works great.
It appears to offer excellent protection while not accumulating. I use this with a microfiber cloth to wipe down my bike after almost every ride, and it seems to make cleaning my bikes easier. I've ridden many miles on the Katy trail, including some when it was a little muddy. I usually use a hose to clean the grit off the trail, which the polish appears to make a lot easier.
