It has been about a month since I purchased my Peloton bike. After I got out of the saddle, I noticed a small creaking which grew worse as time went on while I participated in a class where we got out of the saddle and had resistance of 50+. During my reading of some forums, someone suggested I check out this product. for the price, it definitely seemed to be worth a try. This product arrived today and I sprayed it on the cleats. I waited about five minutes before using. Cody Rigsby and I went for a 30 minute Pop Ride and there was NO CRACKING during that time. I also got my PR when I wasn't being distracted by noise or distractions!.
One of the members of the Facebook group suggested this, and it turned out to be helpful. You don't have to worry about squeaky pedals anymore!.
When I was working out, I kept waking up my kids in the morning. Now, I spray a little bit of it on my shoes and it's completely silent.
This product is easy to use and lasts for a long time. You might want to try this out if you have problems with noise from your bike cleats.
It's time to do something about annoying Peloton shoes once and for all. As I adjust my bike, I can still hear the squeaking shoes. There are a lot of steps I've done and they haven't helped. The only thing that worked was this.
This lubricant was purchased to lubricate a bike clip on an indoor Schwinn spinning bike. The pedals occasionally squeaked as we rode up from the saddle, so we were looking for a lubricant that would offer protection from wear. As well as removing the majority of the squeaking from the clips, this spray added a thin white sheen to the black pedals, which can be seen in the pictures. However, it is possible the instructions on the bottle could mention that this could be an issue, as I believe this is probably caused by user error and heavy application. Using very light applications to indoor bike clips is recommended, and you may want to do a test spray to find out whether color changes are an issue in your own.
I was able to stop the squeak in my SPD cleat on my Peloton using this fix. It takes only a few seconds to spray and I never even need to reapply.
When I tried this spray, it didn't work My Shimano SPD-HG and SPD-HGF bikes have lubricant on them Both my SPD mountain pedals and SL road cycling pedals seem to have an automatic clasp, and it makes clipping in and out less of a hassle. In addition, it also seemed to help with a little creaking I was getting from my * I like the fact that this is a dry lube so it will not accumulate dirt like an oil or wet lube might. I will probably spritz a bit of this stuff on my pedals every few rides to see what happens.
