Questions & Answers

Do you recommend this product to a recreational cyclist? What do you think of Finish Line dry lube?

There is a thin liquid that flashes out some dirt on the chain, but then stays on the chain as lubricant. Oil repels water, so even if water gets on it, the chain will remain attached, as long as it's on the chain. The difference between dry lube and wet lube is subtle. First you need to clean your chain before applying dry lube. After you have applied dry lube, wash your hands. In addition, dry lube is not as long-lasting as oil and does not resist water like oil does. On the other hand, dry lube does not attract dirt like oils do. The best way to lubricate the box is with dry lube if you clean it every 100 miles or every week when there is no rain. I am giving this one a 1 For those who want to get the job done quickly and not mess with their chain so often, this is the step to take. There are usually about 2 or 4 different kinds of chain lube that most cyclists keep on hand, one when they are in a rut (this one works well for that) and another for when they have 30 minutes or an hour to lubricate their chain properly. The mouth is filled with grease and tooth-stains The brush needs to be cleaned and lubricated.

Where can you find this? What do you do with it? Do you know how to ride a bike if you're new?

You should stand the bike on a stand so that you can turn it Be sure to protect the floor from oil spills (you'll be dripping it). While the chain is running, back pedal (by hand), and drip Finish Line slowly onto it. The chain should be wet once it seems the entire length has been You can then continue running for a few more minutes to work in the oil. Once you have the chain on your hand, use a rag or paper towel to gently grab it, while pedaling by hand. Be careful not to get the rag stuck Please do not get your fingers caught in the chain or any other part of your body. It will hurt. I recommend wearing nitryl gloves, as chain dirt can get very Every 100 miles, I repeat this process three times. Using this method will save you a lot of hassle. If your chain reaches 1/8" (3mm) stretch, replace it to keep your sprockets in good shape. Learn how to clean your chain and maintain your bike through utube videos. You can expect your bike to last 30 or 40 years or more if you maintain it.

How does overspray affect the rubber on tires and carbon fiber ?

In the past, I have just wiped the excess off my tires. If I were able to afford a carbon fiber bike, I would know how to keep it clean

The price of 8 oz is lower than 4 oz. Why?

The reason they pay you is so they don't have to pay for storage. Negative oil prices are kind of like that. It would be more accurate to say that oil prices are precisely negative.

These works really well
5/5

I'm a novice at bike repair, but I have to say this stuff really works. It can be seen from the before and after photos that I took that very little scrub was required. Using a toothbrush dipped in some of the cleaner, I just clean the cassette around with it. I don't go for showroom quality when I clean my mountain bike. In addition to the rag, I used another towel. A light coat of spray is applied after cleaning the chain and any excess substance is wiped off. It's so easy to use and all I have to keep track of is one bottle.

It took me some time to believe in it, but now I am convinced! I can honestly say that this thing works! About 300 miles a month, I ride my bike
5/5

One is not usually something I believe in A step system is useful when you combine two functions that are opposed to one another (degreasing and lubrication). As my scrubber of choice, I use a chain scrubber (e. g. , Park Tool CM-120 Use 2 Cyclone Chain Scrubbers) soaked in Simple Green liquid degreaser and finish the job off with Rock n Roll Lube. In addition to my usual routine with degreasing, I decided to try this 1-step process To see how effective this cleaner is, we took it for a test run. I could not believe how much dirt and grime it picked up when compared to the chain scrubber. When using the straw with the chain, it acts like a water jet that blasts away all the dirt/grime, leaving the chain like new! I think it's almost as good as Rock n Roll when it comes to lubrication, but I don't think it can match it. But it's 90% as good, so it's still pretty In order to apply a second coat, I followed the instructions. In general, I think this is an excellent product. I would use it in conjunction with my ordinary cleaning routine, and I would apply Rock n Roll as a second layer every couple hundred miles. Since I degreased the car, I no longer need to use the Rock 'n Roll every time. With this item, you can handle all the work in just a few simple steps!.

Be careful not to break the cap by squeezing it
3/5

Make sure you are buying from a trustworthy source. In this case, the cap is safe for children and safe for grown-ups as well. Although it is my fault, because the cap instructions are built into the cap and not a sticker added (how much would that cost? In those circumstances, the entire purpose of this specific product is defeated, and I can't tell whether it's a good product yet. The cap does not come off easily, but if you squeeze first you will likely be able to remove it.

Bike lube is basically what it sounds like
5/5

I like using this bike lube a lot. As far as I am concerned, no problems exist. I like to apply it to my bike because it stays put. I would not recommend it for sexual purposes, however.

The product saves a lot of time, but it is not as good as actually cleaning the As a result, it is SO MUCH EASIER for you and you save a lot of time

With the aid of some small brushes, you should be able to wipe off most of A majority of it needs to be.

Easy to use, quick, and does what it is supposed to do
5/5

Despite that, it drips for several hours at a time. This is an easy fix to keep both your drivetrain and the rest of your vehicle maintained. After I’ve rinsed off the grit with water and sprayed this stuff, I rinse my equipment every week. Makes pedals move smoothly and keeps the squeaks at bay. You'll at least need to clean your cogs, chainrings, and chain after doing this, but it does tend to drip black sludge off, so be careful.

Has a good handle on things
4/5

In general, it does both jobs well, but not perfectly. If you have a really dirty chain (as I did), you'd be much better off taking the chain off and soaking it in a special Unless you have a lot of trouble keeping your garden, this is a great product. Every 50 yards or so, replace the hosing. Upon reaching 60 miles, give the car a quick clean and spray. As a result, it will keep everything in good working order.

After a thorough cleaning, there is noticeable improvement in resistance, noise, and Just a reminder If you use it inside a trainer as you would with any 'wet' lubricant, it will create a mess.

The lube is excellent
5/5

Every day, my bike gets used to commute through all weather. The winter is especially harsh on my bike due to the ice, water, chemicals, dirt, and salt. I use White Lightning Wash & Rinse to keep my bike clean and rust-free. The bike should first be cleaned, including the chain (the amount of grime collected in the winter is disgusting) then, this lube should be applied. There is a Kryptonite NY Standard U-Size in my collection Earlier this week a lock that was beginning to jam wouldn't open or close, so I dripped a few drops of this into the shackles and now it works like.
