Is this a black or a silver item? It's my understanding that it's available in both. ?

Is this applicable to MTBs with front wheel suspension?

The front rack is attached to the front fork in two places and moves up and down with the fork's lower part. If you want to mount fenders to your fork, make sure it has braze-ons. Make sure the rack is adjusted to clear the front wheel.
