It was very easy to mount to the Trek rack. As far as I am concerned, I have never had a problem
There is a mount for the light on the seatpost. By using an Origin8 Eyelet Stub (Amazon) I was able to make it work for my single-hole rack.
I agree with you! Whether drivers are blinded by it I do not know. It is very unpleasant for me to see a bicycle light with strobes. In addition, I worry that a strobe could cause a driver prone to sensory overload to have a meltdown, which could result in For flashing, I usually choose the slow setting. *BH *

Several of the newer bike tail lights simply provide a red light and have no "reflector" as well. In order to ride a bicycle, you must have a rear reflector. This light is not only incredibly visible, it also functions as a reflector when it isn't on. You might not notice it until you have been hit by a car and the driver points out that you are not using the safety equipment listed on our website.
It has a few settings (strobe and pulse), takes AAA batteries (I only use rechargable batteries so that's also great! perfectly and is just the right size. Above, you can see from the video that it's user-friendly even in the dark This tail light does seem to be crazy expensive to me, but then, I ride at night a lot and couldn't find a tail light that fit on a rear rack. The possibility that you could get hit by a car and be Unless you're willing to spend much more than $20 on something as important as my safety and possibly saving my life? I've spent $20 on lesser things than my safety, so that's why I chose it. Also, I believe it is a state law here that you must have a tail light after dark, so just avoiding a ticket is worthy of.
The second one I've done is on its way. There have been more than 500 miles logged on this vehicle. First one developed problems in which it would turn off or switch modes spontaneously. In a gesture of goodwill, the manufacturer replaced the device. It does the same thing as the first one. The phone doesn't seem to be able to get over bumps on the road. I'll try to find a rear light that will attach to my rack anyway, then. To determine whether this light will work for you, you might want to give it a try. Sadly, I was unable to get the program working I love the light!

Super light! Several years ago, I acquired a Planet Bike and have been using it with satisfaction ever since. The problem is, I recently installed a bike rack, and instead of using my trunk bag, I wanted a light that mounted on the rack. Having found this, I thought I should share. This rack installation kit includes all the necessary installation hardware They were perfect for each other. I love how bright this light is. This is a very bright star. As well as the solid light mode, the two flashing modes are also nice. The power switch that is used to control all of this is a sturdy switch that is large enough for the end of my finger tip rather than a tiny This week's episode of The Grateful Red is all about gratitude!.
For my tail lights, I like using AA batteries, since I can charge ENLOOP rechargeable batteries with them. This type of battery holds its charge forever, and is friendly to the environment. With AA batteries, I can get up to 10 months of use before having to replace the batteries. I guess the USB rechargeable units are smaller, but I get about a month with the AA With a fully charged set available around the house, you can easily stay organized when you need to. You will receive everything you need to mount the units on a seat post or trunk rack, including the necessary stainless hardware. For the last two years, this has been working rain or shine without issue. In order to be able to easily swap tail lights between bikes, I purchased extra mounts. I like the lighting very much.
Similar taillights were available from Bell for a cheap price. You could turn it on steadily, slowly blink, fast blink, or chase it. It was battery powered, clipped on, and you could adjust how it worked. My favorite part of the thing was its simplicity. I liked how batteries lasted forever, the slow blink was pleasant to watch. The light wasn't crazy bright, but it was bright enough to be noticeable from behind, which is what I was trying to accomplish. It also has a sort of slow blink, where it goes from dim to very bright in a cycle, so that it's never completely off.
It's brighter, and the constant on function is similar to this one. As a driver, I much preferred the way my old one blinks on and off slowly, as I thought that was much more effective. When using "insane" setting, the LEDs oscillate back and forth a lot, so it is a bit too intense for riding on little trafficked roads at night. I want to make sure anyone coming from behind can see me from a mile away, not so I can draw everyone's attention a mile away. It comes with a bracket that can be mounted to the seat post, but I needed one that I could clip to my waistband or rear pocket since I have a bike lock mounted on the seat post. When I go shopping, etc. , I have to remember to turn it off when I go in stores, like with my old one. Shopping at a grocery store with the thing still blinking has been an experience. I like that. That is a bit embarrassing when you realize it when you get back to your.
DO NOT BUY THE HARDWARE SUGGESTED BY AMAZON! ALONG WITH THE TAIL LIGHT, IT IS INCLUDED. This light was attached to my Ibera PakRak Bicycle Touring Carrier Plus+, Frame- Mated to the carrier Attached to a heavier top and a heavier base Front and rear loader, with height adjustment, fender board, for 26" to 32" Keeping it simple was the way to go with 29" frames. In addition to the rack adapter, a pair of screws, a pair of bolts, and four washers, two thin, two thick, were included. The screws sat into the adapter when I turned the bolts with the wrench on my biketool.
your bike has a rear light mount, you may want to check out Planet Bike's Grateful Red taillight since it is the only one I've seen that includes an appropriate mounting bracket (you can also get the seat tube mount for your bike). I even lined up the mounting holes on the brackets perfectly with the mounting holes on my Blackburn centerpost rack! On, plus two flashing) are all very bright and very The product appears to be of good quality, and it uses standard AA alkaline batteries rather than rechargable batteries that eventually run out of juice.
I am not worried about not being noticed and seen. I find these three modes to be very useful. At night, I use the slow flash to grab viewers' attention instead of the strobe. It appears to be a solid product that is easy to operate. The rack of the Ibera was perfect for it.
