Questions & Answers

Where did this product come from?

That doesn't mean the Chicom's are cheap crap, but everything from there isn't. Even if you don't like it, they have the 'capability' to make it cheaper, faster, and yes, even better than anyone else. These guys have been around for a long time as well. The corporations that own us in the United States have sold us Norms established by the government, employee benefits, insurance, FMLA, and unions are costs a business must endure. We are also responsible for processing and paying all taxes, import fees, duties, sanction costs, etc. These expenses are passed on to us, the end user.

What is the difference between the Incredible Bell and this one?

The incredibell sounds very loud, but I’ve never heard one before.

If I buy this bell, would it fit on a road bike with 30mm handlebars?

In the description, it says the maximum size is When using the thinner of the 2 rubber shims provided, there isn't much extra room between the bars and the shims when they are 4mm (1 inch).

A 2 inch circumference is the size of my handlebars. Is it possible to use either the small or large bell?

The second type of agreement is It is listed that the small bell must have a diameter of 22mm. Two millimeters. The 2. is therefore appropriate. With only the thicker shim, the 5 inch circumference would be too small for the small bell.

Selected User Reviews For Greallthy Bike Bell, Classic Brass Bicycle Bell with Nice Loud Tone Road Bike Mountain Bike Horn Cycling Accessories

That would have been a great purchase if I had bought it I recently rebuilt my beloved mountain bike into an urban cruiser, and this is well built and distinctive, but why did I not buy this sooner? A bell that I bought in September never seems to work for me
5/5

I found this one when my wife was looking through magazines. What a great idea! In addition to being loud (a good trait), it is also fast. The tank-like design makes it look imposing. You won't get an accidental ring when you hit a pothole. A simple phone number you can call (hopefully rarely) when you need It is as simple as that. As for the look, it is very distinctive. Furthermore, it is made out of heavy, quality metal.

During this period of Social Distancing, I have ridden my bike more than ever before. It has been a great addition to my rides.

Don't make the same mistake as I did. I hope this review has been informative and helpful. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them. Please purchase this product first!

I think this "ding" is like a bicycle bell, but it is not one
3/5

As it turns out, I bought it for the purpose of being a There are beautiful "dings" on it, but no one knows what they mean. I always have trouble getting people to understand where the single "ding" comes from and they certainly do not identify it as a bicycle bell when I use it to warn them I am coming. It doesn't matter what I do, even if I say "ding-dong It goes ding-dong It goes ding-dong "ding" people don't understand it and turn to look at me when I come upon them. I am afraid that people are so used to the traditional ring of a bicycle bell that they do not recognize that this is an abnormality. Update after three There's going to be a need to get a more traditional-looking shirt I prefer the sound of a bicycle bell because this one simply does not warn oncoming traffic.

I like it because it is loud and nice
5/5

I am running a mountain bike, and this bell is perfect. It is small but it is really loud and has a good There is nothing like a brass bell for quality. On Amazon, I tried one of the cheaper, more popular small black bells, but it sounded awful. It's worth it to spend a little more on this one.

For the price, this is a nice simple bell
5/5

Worked exactly as described, fitted snugly on my handlebars with the rubber inserts provided (2 of them, each with a You do have to hold the lever pretty far back to make it strike the bell, otherwise, as others have reported, it won't strike and nothing happens. Not a big deal, just press hard. Considering how simple this device is, the sound output is surprisingly strong.

A revised review is attached If you want your actuator to be clear as a bell, add a bit of cloth or leather
5/5

I like the sound of this bell because it is piercing, loud, distinctive. Bicyclists, pedestrians, runners, strollers, and families all use this two lane trail bell together. This bell is very effective at warning people ahead of a cyclist who is approaching, and people immediately move or stay in their lane to allow the cyclist to pass on the As the clapper is spring loaded, the cyclist needs to allow the lever to snap onto the bell so that it can sound. This can, however, often lead to irritation in the thumb of the bellringer under constant ringing. This is the reason for the only 4 stars in the rating It is essential for the clapper to "snap" before the bell will I would suggest using gloves over your thumb in winter, and otherwise using a technique whereby you interact with the spring mechanism mostly with your thumbnail. It would probably be wise to wear some kind of protective bandage or other covering on the thumb as well. Depending on their circumstances, the user will have to choose what is the best solution for them. The "thumbnail technique" is not the easiest trick to learn, but the bell is very loud and distinctive, and, for me, it is worth it because it is so loud and distinctive. *UPDATE TO MY INITIAL REVIEW* I love this bell, and I would buy it again if I had a chance. The following information is for your reference have made a modification that I would like to share with you. I attached a strip of tough polyester fabric to the metallic ringer mechanism by using Wedgewood Contact Cement. The hard but soft fabric protects the thumb when ringing the bell and at the same time is soft. My rating has now improved from 4 stars to 5 stars thanks to this easy improvement.

I can't use those bars, they're too small Measuring is an important step
4/5

As a result, I took some ownership over this issue because I assumed this bell would fit or mount on almost any bar available. This is a big negative. On my road and gravel bike, it covers the widest part but not the widest part of There is nothing fancy or non-sense to it I couldn't get my bars to fit as they are standard. I have an odd issue with it fitting my mountain bike. This bell is available in several different models, the bell itself is a great design, it is just the mounting that makes it bad. Measuring is an important step.

The sound is good
4/5

A good build, but a little rough on the The cons are This bell has one problem the lever must be pushed down in order to activate it, then you need to slide your thumb off the lever so that it springs back, causing the clapper to strike It is uncomfortable for your thumb to slide on the edge of the lever, as it is not rounded. In order to make the lever more usable, I epoxy a piece of soft leather over it. I gave it four stars instead of five because it contains the following pros It appears to be made of well-designed materials 2) Very well constructed. Components that have been well-crafted and sturdy. 2) The installation is easy. A hinged ring is attached to the handlebars and opens up like a clam to allow for easy access to the handlebars. By doing so, there is no need to slide the ring over handle grips, which would make it impossible to install the ring. 3) Great sound quality! During the ring, a loud, clear, and pleasant sound is heard. If Mary Poppins had a bicycle, this would be the sound it would make. An earbud-like ring is all it takes to get a person's attention. They turn around and acknowledge your oncoming bicycle with a happy demeanor. The device occupies only a tiny fraction of handlebar space, making it easy to fit it between other.

The sound is nice and loud - This is a secure fit
5/5

Although I haven't used it on the trail yet, it mounted nicely on my mountain bike using the rubber spacers that came with it. This device should be loud enough to overpower headphones worn by hikers or runners. It has so far been a good experience for me. This product seems good and solid, and it.
