I've never tried the one made of Oxford cloth but I can say this one is 99% waterproof. It's similar to a woven polymer/plastic film.
Yes, if you have the proper cover for your bike. It is secured to the bike frame or rack with two clips.

This doesn't look anything like the pictures, and when you put it on your bike/scooter/etc. , it hangs like a sheet. The image gives the impression that it is made of sturdy fabric with a defined shape and density, but this is not the case. It appears to be made of low-quality materials and has a low-cost appearance. Spend a little more and get a better cover by saving your money and spending a little more. It ripped as soon as I put it on. I don't think there's anything else I can say.
The storage bag, in particular, is extremely useful. We were getting ready for a trip when we discovered that one of the covers had a 1 1/2 inch gap in the seam when we received them. I couldn't return it for a new one because I didn't have time, so I sewed it. I informed the company, and they advised that they should consult their quality assurance department. It was clear that the stitching had failed to catch the material. They responded and sent me a new one anyway, which was fantastic customer service; as for the covers, I really like the material and the grommets on the front and back to keep the cover in place. I can't express how accommodating this company is when it comes to making customers happy with their purchases.
This cover has made it through its first winter (though not quite over its 2/16/20), with no flaws. Camouflage is ideal because it appears to be a shrub from afar, not a stolen bike.
It feels like a light-weight raincoat and protects well from rain and sun, which is better than I expected for the price. The wind holds the rear buckle in place. Front grommets are designed to hold a lock, but they can also be used to secure the front with a rope. Because the cover catches a lot of wind, make sure it's securely fastened or leaning against something sturdy. In a moderate breeze, the kickstand will not be enough to keep the bike upright.
My RadRover e-vehicle has been protected by a motorcycle cover. It was a good bike, but it was a little too big for me. This is a tight fit, but it's better than what I had before. It would take a strong gust of wind to blow it away, given how tight it is. The camouflage color is extremely bright, but it will most likely fade over time. Because the RadRover is so large, this cover should fit most other electric bicycles. For the money, it's a good product.
This product was purchased in June, a little more than four months ago. It had done an excellent job of shielding my bike, which I had locked outside my apartment, from the Chicago summer and fall rain and sun. br>br>Last week, after a cold and windy night (27° F), I went out for my morning ride and discovered that the fabric had completely split. There were no bite or claw marks, and no forced entry was found. The only logical conclusion is that the material failed because it became brittle due to the cold and was then ruptured by the wind's force. br>br>I'm disappointed because keeping this bike inside isn't an option, and I plan to ride it all winter. If I had known that this product would only last 4 months, I would have spent more money on a better one.
This is a good-size protective cover for a college bike. Keeping the bike dry, clean, and out of the elements is a priority. Additionally, it serves as a deterrent to potential thieves and vandals.
I've only had it for a few weeks, but it's held up well to being in direct sunlight and getting wet. I bought three of them for my family's bikes while we wait for a shed to be built, so I'm not sure how long they'll last. In general, it fulfills my requirements!.
