This was one of the most regrettable purchases I've ever made. We purchased this in March in preparation for our return trip on April 27. We only had the cover on our bikes for about two hours before it was ripped to shreds when we stopped for gas.
Last year, at the end of the summer, my wife and I purchased two bicycles. Before it got too cold, we were able to get in a few good rides. We put them in the garage after that. The garage is where I do a lot of carpentry. As a result, the bikes were covered in sawdust, and I understand that many people have to store their bikes outside or transport them in the back of their car or truck, exposing them to the elements. Rust and corrosion can be found on the bike itself. Then any high-tech accessories, such as odometers, lights, horns, and so on, will be thoroughly soaked and corroded. As a result, this heavy-duty all-weather cover from Indeed BUY will aid in the protection of your bicycles. Another advantage is that your bikes are less likely to be stolen. Thieves are less likely to steal a bike if they can't see it. Most people aren't curious enough to peek underneath the cover to see what's on the other side. Plus. This cover has a great elastic band around the base to keep it in place and can be cable locked over the bikes as well as to a porch rail, column, post, or other object. It also has two strips of brightly colored and reflective tape on top to make it easy to see at night and avoid tripping over it. The cover also comes with a handy storage pouch that keeps the cover safe when not in use. It's big enough to fit the cover in without too much trouble. br>br>Here's one thing I think I would have done differently when designing this cover: Because bikes lean to the left on their side stands and the front wheel naturally turns to that side, I would have designed the cover to have a similar overall shape, allowing it to drape easily over the bikes. That is simply my viewpoint. That's what my motorcycle cover does, making installation and fit much easier. br>br>On the whole, I have to give this cover a five-star rating. It's a fantastic cover that's well worth the money and provides excellent protection for your investment.
It should be able to accommodate one or two bicycles. My collection is limited to just one. I assumed that putting the cover on would be obvious, but it took me and another person 20 minutes, and I'm sure it's not on correctly. When I have more time, I'll try again, but is there a video I could watch to see how the cover should be installed on the bike?.
We live in Florida and keep our bikes out on the balcony, where it frequently rains, so I wanted to protect the bikes from the rain and the scorching sun! This is a purchase that you will not be sorry for.
We bought this cover to store our bikes outside, and it fits perfectly over two cruiser bikes, providing excellent protection from the rain and sun.
This satisfied all of my requirements for transporting two bikes on a bike rack mounted to my car. I only use it when I'm parked overnight to provide an extra layer of "theft protection. " This worked perfectly for two bikes, both of which were 26 inches in diameter. With flat bars and an inch wheel frame. It was a perfect fit, and the buckle underneath kept the cover from blowing off the bikes, as well as reducing the ease with which prying eyes could see what was hidden beneath the cover. The price was ideal, the construction quality appeared to be satisfactory, and installation and removal were both simple.
We keep our bicycles in a shed that is exposed to a lot of dust and wind, and we don't ride them on a daily basis. I finally got this cover for them because wiping them down every time we went for a ride was a pain. What I like about it: It's light and easy to get over both bicycles, as well as uncovering just one of them. The material appears to be strong and long-lasting at the same time. The bottom of the cover has some elastic that feels sturdy and keeps the cover in place. We're not going to use the grommet you used to secure the lock, but it appears to be a great feature. Overall, a quality product at a reasonable price.
There is a single strap in the middle that you can use to secure your bikes. To prevent our bike rack from blowing up and over the bikes, we had to lift the tires on each end and shove the ends under our tires. It has grommets on one end, but we could have used bungies to make a tighter fit if it had grommets on both ends. However, the tail of the one strap we had became loose and tangled in our chain. If you can safely and securely secure the cover, it will work fine.
