1,500 mm WATERPROOF RATING The most innovative bike cover: Whether your bike is your primary mode of transportation or simply a weekend hobby, you'll want to protect your investment. The FifthStart bicycle tarp has a few features that make it stand out when it comes to protecting your bike from the elements. The extra thick 210D ripstop fabric on this waterproof bike cover repels rain and has a 1,500mm waterproof rating. For added protection, this waterproof bicycle cover has a polyurethane coating.
Extra large (208 x 116 x 76cm) dimensions: 82 x 46 x 30 inches. It can be used to protect a variety of bicycles. Please note that this cover is only for ONE bike and does not extend to two.
The louver lock channels, another feature exclusive to our waterproof bike bag, protect the otherwise vulnerable lock holes from the wind and rain. This bike storage cover is also double stitched and has a webbing strap to keep moisture out. If you park outside, it will keep the weather out, and if you use it inside a garage, it will keep dust and damp out. Because the material is UV resistant, the color of your prized possession will be preserved.
Our ground-breaking design reduces the amount of surface area exposed to the elements by 360 degrees with double clips. Fitting is simple and quick, and it ensures that your bike is properly protected from rain and wind. When the cover is not in use, it is kept in a handy bag.

Questions & Answers

Will this cover up my Subaru's taillights if I use it on a bike rack?

A Subaru is one of my vehicles. Yes, it does, unfortunately, block the light. For night driving, I removed mine.

The bike cover has how many lock holes? Do the front and back of the cover have lock holes?

Under Cover, it's tough, but it's wet
5/5

Very nice bike cover, thick material that covers the entire bike; I had previously purchased a cheaper brand that ripped within a week and wasn't large enough. What you pay for is exactly what you get. It took me a few tries to get the cover on properly, but reading the instructions and watching the video clearly explains how to do so. The downside is that our New York weather has been hot, humid, rainy, and damp, causing moisture to accumulate under the cover, which is a concern because the cover's purpose is to keep the bike dry, defeating the purpose. That was not the result of the less expensive bike cover. I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else or if there is a reason for it. I'm concerned that the moisture will corrode my bike over time. It would be beneficial if the seller could assist me with this.

It's not a good idea to travel by car
3/5

In high winds, it's easy to rip. I bought a pair of the "2000mm" versions in the hopes that they would keep my eBikes dry while they were secured to the bed of my pickup. Needless to say, these "rip stop nylon" didn't hold up well to sustained 65mph speeds on the Interstate, and they started ripping apart after only 500 miles of use. I ended up having to buy a couple of $15 "Expert Grill" large grill covers from Walmart, which, to my surprise, had a much thicker, more durable, and well constructed material that lasted another 670 miles on the Interstate with no signs of wear or tearing, in comparison to what I consider to be overpriced, thin material bike covers. Avoid these if you plan to travel with your bikes on a vehicle bike rack and save yourself the money by purchasing a thick, durable grill cover for over half the price.

Tough, heavy-duty, and wide handlebar compatible! As stated in the headline, this cover is ideal for bikes with wide handlebars (many modern bikes have handlebars that are over 30 inches wide)
5/5

It will easily fit a 29er due to its large size. This is the second time I've purchased a bike cover. The first was half the price and not even close to half the quality. It took some searching to find a cover that would fit a wide handlebar and that I hoped would be fairly tough, as the first cover I had, as previously mentioned, developed holes in various places on the cover while transporting the bikes across the country (I transport the bikes behind a class C motorhome), and was downright flimsy in comparison to these covers. There are more expensive covers available, but I think these are a great deal for the money. So far, it's been an impressive show. The only change I would make is to request that the company include straps and tie down points for these on the cover itself, to prevent ballooning and flapping in the wind while driving. I used bungee cords for this, but I think adding straps and loops to the covers themselves would be a great addition, though I'm sure it would increase the cost.

The cover has a substantial feel to it
5/5

I'm not sure what's meant by 'Ripstop,' but I've used the cover a few times and it's very sturdy. It has been fitted with small vents to allow heat and moisture to escape. I'm thinking about using this cover for my electric bike as well. I don't need to lock my bike on my balcony, so the lock channels aren't necessary, but it's nice that I can close them with velcro when I'm not using them. Everything is well-thought-out, and I believe the creator of this uses a bicycle cover. The cover is also tucked around the bottom of my bike by a strong elastic band at the base.

The cover is incredibly durable
5/5

I recently drove to Utah and used this cover for over 600 miles of the trip, which included some bad weather. It's a back-mounted trough bike rack, and I didn't want the salt to get on my bike's back. For such a long drive, there was ice and sand from the snow removal. I added a few extra straps to keep it tight, and it performed admirably at 75 mph. It was unquestionably a wise investment.

On our first long trip, it did not hold up
3/5

We were disappointed to find these holes on our first long trip. It worked well on short trips. I'm past my return window and hoping that someone will contact me so that I can exchange it for a new one. I like the cover, but it appears that there was too much wind behind the car.

It was a decent investment
4/5

The cover appears to be of good quality. It didn't quite fit my Townie bike as well as the pictures/video showed, but I believe my bike is larger than the average mountain bike, so it still did the job. I gave it a four-star rating because the instruction video for covering the bike shows slits on the bottom front and back where the bike lock can be slipped in. Velcro is used to close the slits when they are not in use or to close the gap around the lock in these slits. Velcro was missing from my cover. I'm hoping that this won't let too much dust in. I'll update my review after I let the cover dry and see how dust-free my bike is after it's been covered. Keep an eye out for updates.

Genuinely high-quality, and the moisture-release valves are a brilliant idea
5/5

I also like the lockable channels that can be sealed. I can now lock one wheel and cover the other's base. In the rain and snow, my bike takes a beating, so all of the seams are sealed. design is excellent The product information includes a cute story about the family who designed it. They give you a QR code that leads to an instructional video; however, I didn't need it because it was fairly simple to install. There will be no more flapping bits in the wind, thanks to the spring lining at the base.
