Mine have a leggings-like fit and are only worn underneath my pants. I don't think they'd keep you warm in the snow if you wore them by themselves, but I've never tried. Georgia is where I call home.

I'm 5'6" and weigh 130 pounds, so I ordered a medium. I think you should order a medium as well because it fits perfectly.
It is dependent on your physical characteristics. I went up a size to get a better fit in the thighs and hips, so the waistline is a little lower on me. Because of the seam that runs along the outside, I only use them for layering.

I work outside and got this a few days before the wind chill dropped to 39 degrees below zero. It had been a nightmare.
1. No Marino wool, it is 85% coldpruf "polyester" as you can see on the package shown on the package shown on the package shown on the package shown on the pack 15% spandex
2 spandex spandex spandex spandex I had to look down to make sure I had put my pants on because it was so cold against my skin.
3. I was sweating profusely on my back and legs from all the shoveling. It didn't do anything to wick moisture away from my skin.
4. After the first day of wear, the waistband's seam tore. br>The only thing I liked about it was how well it fit. Would be perfect for yoga pants.
This was purchased in preparation for a trip to Alaska that I will be taking soon. The lack of sizing information was my main concern with this purchase. Sizing instructions are included in the package. Fortunately, they were a perfect fit. They come in the following sizes: S 4- M 8- L 12- XL 16- 2XL 20.
As you can see, the length goes over my heel and arch because I'm 5' 3/4" tall. This isn't a big deal; it's to be expected. If you're extremely tall and slim, a word of caution br>Wow, that's a lot of compression. These were purchased for my Michigan winter running. When I go out, the temperature is usually around 20 degrees. This will look great on its own. Pants, a shirt, and a zip-up jacket are all included. Normally, I would dress in wool tights, a heavy-weight long-sleeved t-shirt, and a North Face zip-up jacket. br>The package stated that the item was for "youth," but the scan tags and tags on the item said "women's. " I have no idea what I bought, but it fits perfectly. I was hoping to fall in love with these leggings. The material appears to be high-quality and durable. They have a nice silhouette and are extremely soft on the inside. The small is a perfect fit for me (I'm 5'3" and 125 pounds). The thick seam that runs the length of the front of the leggings (from top to bottom) cuts right across the knees, which was my issue with these. When I bended my knees, I found the seam to be extremely uncomfortable. Given that I intended to use them for long stretches of city-bound travel, I discovered that the level of comfort in my knees was insufficient when walking and hiking.
While skiing in the Colorado mountains, I purchased these as a base layer. I have base layers from Under Armour, Hot Chilis, and other well-known brands, but these are my favorites. I wore them for the entire winter with only one problem. They did develop a tear along the inside thigh seam around the third time I wore them, which I noticed around the third time I wore them. But I was able to sew it up and it stayed put for the rest of the season. That is the only reason I gave it a four instead of a five star rating. When it's cold outside, these keep my legs warm under my snow pants, but they're not too hot when the weather warms up.
While I recognize that this is merely a starting point, The pants were suffocating and unbearable to wear, despite the fact that they were meant to be form fitting to wear under clothing. Because I'm a size 2 and weigh 110 pounds, I went with the small (4-inch) size. I couldn't wear these pants for more than a few minutes without feeling as if my blood flow was being cut off. off. I'd rather be cold while riding than pass out on a bike due to lack of blood flow because the stitching at the knee is blistering and the waistband is so tight that breathing was difficult. It was a costly blunder.
I ended up wearing them overtop of my hiking pants because they were pretty baggy in the groin area and wouldn't layer under them. It's a difficult time. I was simply thankful for the extra layer. br>br>When layered under my pajama pants, they didn't seem to make a difference.
Because of the inconsistency, I'm giving it three stars: I ordered two pairs of the same thing, and when they arrived, one had a waistband and the other didn't. After trying them both on, I've come to the conclusion that the one without a waistband is a miscalculation. It was not worth the effort to return it, and I am content with the one pair that I have. I would have given four or five stars to the second pair if it had a waistband.
