There's something about these pants that I'm in love with. My glasses are almost too much of a staple in my wardrobe. Purchasing a second pair was a good decision for me. The season doesn't matter to me! They're always on! During the winter, I wear them long, combined with a wool long john underneath and I am set for business. Capri style is what I wear in the spring. Also, I wear them to wear shorts in the summer. I've worn them multiple times during backpacking trips with a little to no washing and they've never stank. They just look dirty but I'm the one who does that. Additionally, I use them every single day as a professional gardener and they're super durable, and not a single rose bush has torn or ripped them under my weight. Moreover, they are extremely breathable and ideal for hikers or people going about their normal daily lives outside. I will continue purchasing these pants for the rest of my life! The products I've purchased from Marmot are great I'm amazed at how wonderful they are. If you wear these as frequently as I do, which is every day for at least five days, but I also wear them on my off days because they look good with everything, then they will show normal wear as usual, like a regular pair of heavily worn pants. Due to years of keeping scissors and shears in back pockets, kicking around in the dirt, etc, the pocket seams became ragged and the pants began to look ragged after a few years. They are so great that even though they are very worn, I have hand sewn the pockets back together and wear them anyway. However, these two pairs had suffered a great deal in the past two years, and I am fully aware that the new pair will undergo the same sort of trials.
In spite of trying over a dozen pairs of convertible pants, I bought two pairs of these for my trip to Africa, one desert khaki and one crocodile. I usually wear a size 10 to 12, but these fit in a It fits well on my hips without being too long. I like the fuzzy lining at the waist. While I haven't actually taken the legs off, the quality seems good, and the weight of the fabric is nice. My second choice was the Women's Ferrosi by Outdoor Research.
As if by magic, they attract lint and dog hair like nothing you've ever seen. Lint rollers aren't necessary for hiking pants, which I'm not used to. The downside is they dry fast and are comfortable, but I guess that will be ok. Ideally, the pockets should have zippers (and I wish there were more pockets, and deeper pockets) and I wish there were straps/places where stuff could be hung up. A very utilitarian pant is what I was looking for, and these are not it. We will use these mostly for around the house / garden or for day hikes over the weekend, but they will never be used for real adventures.
A slim fit and a little extra room is what I like. There is a stylish style on the waist as well as the zippered legs. 5'5" and weigh 150 pounds. In size 8, I am 150 pounds. The 33rd). In an attempt to hem them, I will try.
In order to choose between a size 4 and a size 6, I contemplated buying something between the two. My height is 5'10 and my weight is 130 lbs, so it is hard to find pants that fit my waist but are also long enough. It seemed like the best option was to go for size 4 and hope they wouldn't be too snug. Once I put them on, I discovered that they fit me like a size 6 or larger. When I tried them on, I realized they were just too big around the waist. While I have yet to wear these pants in the field, after reading several reviews on them, I have high hopes that they will be of worth noting is how soft the inside lining of the waistband is, and how they are so versatile, with a zippered pocket the size of a handbag. Moreover, it is made from woven material. This looks like a great backpack! I'm eager to see how it holds up on a hiking trip!.
Since the Covid crisis, I have been hiking a lot and foraging a lot, and I felt I needed to become more adept at being outdoors. I have been happy with these pants, though they are a little too long for me at 5'3". They still hot the back of my heel even though I hemmed them once and not quite enough. Aside from that, I like them very much. Light and comfortable, they make a good choice for traveling. These pants dry quickly when used on hiking trips and when swimming in the creek.
The pockets, the versatility, and the ease of drying these pants are reason enough to love them. A disadvantage is that they stretch too much while being worn during physical My height (5'3") also prevented me from finding pants or shirts that fit. It will be necessary for me to bring them to.
These pants would be a good hiking choice! Be sure to order a size smaller than your usual size since the shirts run large. In the past, I wore size 8, but after reading reviews, I opted for size 6, which is comfortable. I have worn them on several trips and I have not had any complaints! Very comfortable, well-made, and lightweight.
