There is definitely something to be said for the ponytail hole. When it comes to hats, I often struggle. I can't wear some because they're too hot, I can't wear some because they don't work with ponytails, a visor doesn't protect my scalp, while others get blown Many of those issues are resolved by this hat, and the hat can also be tucked away in a suitcase and beach case. As a warning, the item I received had a complete snap on only one side. It had one part on the other. The only problem was I needed it for a beach trip immediately, so I just wore it as is. In its new role as a yard work/gardening hat, it will be put to good use. There is no hard and fast rule for what kind of hat is good, but the one with snaps on it (or none), is probably a good one.

You can't go wrong with it! A bit of wind and a bit of sun shouldn't hurt them either. It appears that the material will hold together well in both scenarios.
