They completed 50 miles on both my commuter and trail bikes. The gloves made a huge difference and were very comfortable right away. They're a good fit, and the sizing is consistent with other gloves I've bought (dress, work, etc. ). I thought the "easy off" pull strings were mostly gimmicky when I first saw the picture. That is not the case. They are completely functional and make removing the gloves much simpler and faster.
After asking if these were made in the United States, I purchased them believing they were. They aren't made in the United States; instead, they are manufactured in China. I wish Amazon offered a filter that was made in the United States.
Although the color is described as grey, it is actually the color of a palm. It's more of an off-set color of sea green. The palms have a suede-like texture (and plenty of padding!). As a result, I used Scotch Guard to protect the fabric. The pictures show how to wash the garment. They also have hoops for easy glove removal, which I thought was a great idea! These have made a huge difference in my death grip on the handlebars! They're a small size, and they're perfect for my female hand! A fantastic purchase!.
This was one of the most ineffective biking gloves I've ever used. Because I have small hands, I'm never sure whether to choose the small or medium size. I probably should have gone with the medium, but everything about this glove is perfect! I can't complain about the sizing because I didn't take the time to measure my hand to ensure I got the right size; however, the padding is exactly what I needed, the top material is breathable and comfortable, and the finger pull straps are a nice touch. These gloves come highly recommended by me. I'm planning on getting another pair of shoes.
These gloves are decent, but not the best that could be produced. Although the padding was adequate, it could have been thicker and firmer. The main point is this: Unlike other gloves, the padding on this one is in the right place and distributes the force of the handle bar across a larger area of your palm. I tried some other gloves that had strategically-placed holes in them. In my experience, they were terrible when it came to padding. So, while there isn't quite enough padding for a mountain bike ride, it's good enough to recommend.
After having surgery on my left hand, I decided to buy these gloves to make riding my bike more comfortable. I also bought a pair for my husband, and after riding for a while, we were both surprised at how much better our hands felt; we ride hybrid bikes and frequently ride on bumpy trails. The gloves were extremely helpful in reducing the tingling caused by the constant vibration.
