The material is like that of a sweatshirt. It is unclear what size it is. As a result of several reviews indicating the XLs fit a little small/tight, I decided to order a size up. I wear an XL normally, and they're usually a little loose on me, which I like. Unlike its size, I find the XXL to be a little long for me. My knees were at least half-way to the ground. My garment has now been shrunk out of all the poop, so it fits great now There is plenty of room, but it is not too large. My height is 5'10" and my weight is 200 pounds. I love how thick and warm it is, and how soft it is on the inside. This is almost a cross between a comfortable cotton sweatshirt and a cozy fleece jacket. (I am not a hoody guy), and I think this will be a great layering shirt for the fall season. In sum, I recommend this product. Size matters. Make sure you pay attention to it.

My favorite sweater is sized very oddly, but I still love it! My standard size is an XL, but from reading reviews, I saw that the garment was too small, so I ordered an XXL and I am very pleased with it. The sweater fit well, but was tight in the sleeves and shoulders. Since it was tight, you wouldn't layer under it, but the sweater was still good. Normally, I wear an XL and an XXL, but this fitted perfectly in an XXL for me. I am 5'9" 240 pounds with broad shoulders and back, so I typically wear an XL or A size up is definitely in order.
