Questions & Answers
Only a few companies are still producing them. One of them is the Flight Sunglasses. Amazon doesn't usually have these, and if they do, it's a rare occurrence. We are a Serengeti specialist and authorized dealer.
This is not the case with the Drivers Gradient Sunglasses. I've owned several pairs of Serengeti glasses, and one time I wasn't careful and bought the polar phd's, which I didn't like for the same reason (amazing on the water but impossible to read something in your lap).
The nose piece is made of a soft gel silicone-like material, which I'm not sure is an upgrade. Shades are fantastic.
The weight isn't too much. Great pair of sunglasses!
Selected User Reviews For Serengeti Velocity Sunglasses (Titanium Aviator, Matte Black)
According to one review, these glasses should only have the letter "S" and not Serengeti written on them. They claimed that if it's written down, it's not real. Not TRUE! When I got my glasses yesterday, I noticed the Serengeti written on them, so I called Bushnell. They claimed that both were present in their glasses. They said to look at the number on the side arm and the place where it was made. She said they were genuine Serengeti glasses with Serengeti spelled out on the lense, so I gave them to her.
Serengeti has been a part of my wardrobe for over a decade. I'm a huge fan of theirs. With high hopes, I placed an order for these high-end, all-glass super sunglasses. I put them through their paces and couldn't tell the difference between them and the Summit versions. It's not like the difference is worth $150. In north Texas, I drive a car as well as a motorcycle. I made every effort to like them. I don't see anything worth mentioning in terms of photography. a shift in color from light to dark My summits were almost the same tint as these when I put them next to them last night and this morning. The tint of the night sun is nearly identical. There may be a small difference, but it's not what I expected for $200. In the end, I don't think the extra money is worth it. Others, such as pilots, may have had a different story to tell. I returned the summits and will place an order for a spare pair.
I did replace them with bronze-framed glasses, but otherwise everything is the same. For the past 15 years, I've been wearing Serengeti sunglasses. You don't have to take them off to look down because they're gradient. They improve contrast, allowing you to see other planes more easily. Non- Everything, including an oil slick, is visible thanks to the polarized lens. br>They're so comfortable that I sometimes forget I'm wearing them. br>It's not cheap, but having clear vision has a lot of value! This is a great place to spend some of your extra cash!.
For the past thirty years, I've been a Serengeti customer. For the first time in all those years, there was a sense of accomplishment. I had one pair of shoes that didn't work out for me. Isn't it true that they come with a two-year warranty? WRONG. They'll definitely try to sell you a pair, but do you think they'll discuss a warranty with you? Nope. These are the cyclops sunglasses to get if you want a pair that will soon be missing a lens. You won't be able to get a replacement lens because they will not honor their warranty or sell you a new one. They will, however, sell you a new pair with the same excellent warranty. Bollé Brands Inc. , I'm sorry, but I'm not interested. I'm not going to be duped once more.
sunglasses with polarized lenses Since my first pair in the 1980s, I've only worn Serengeti sunglasses. br>I'm not a pilot, but I do a lot of driving. In all light conditions, I can confidently say that these sunglasses are outstanding. They are ideal for my needs because of their clarity and durability. Granted, the mineral glass lenses are a little heavier than the other brands recommended by my optometrist (Maui Jim, Revo), but the extra weight just makes the glasses hug my head better. The Velocity adds to their clout, though I prefer non-alcoholic beverages. polarized to see all digital displays, but polarized comes in a variety of models if desired. If you're still undecided, give these a shot. This book comes highly recommended. Of course, I would buy it again.
For over a decade, I've been wearing these glasses. Because the lenses are glass, I find these glasses to be strong and scratch-resistant. They're fashionable, light, and cozy. The gradient lenses are great for driving, but they're also dark enough to provide clear visibility in a variety of light conditions. This replaced my older pair, which were 10 years old and had seen a lot of use. This is a fantastic deal for such a high-quality pair of sunglasses.
I'm not sure what to say. I've always bought Serengeti sunglasses, but I did take a Maui Jim walkabout recently. I found these amazing glasses after breaking two pairs and sending them in for repair. Because of my high cheekbones, I can set the nose piece higher on my nose. I work in a glass office and don't get ear fatigue from wearing them all day. Another advantage is that they are less prone to smudging than my Jim's.
I've been a commercial pilot for more than 30 years, and these are the only sunglasses I'll ever buy. There aren't any other products on the market that come close. I've owned 5 or 6 pairs of these Velocitys (I look after my sunglasses and they last a long time) and can attest that they are genuine Serengeti's; Any negative feedback should be ignored. I was impressed with the speed of delivery when I recently ordered a new pair because my old ones had simply worn out. The quality was as expected, and the packaging, which included a nice case, was excellent. When these wear out—which will be in about 6 years—I will definitely order another pair.
