old son. He's tall for his age, average weight, and wears a 10/12 top size, so I was pleasantly surprised that this coat fit him perfectly with no room to spare. The coat rode up when he raised his arms because the shoulders were particularly tight. Except for the sizing issue, this is a fantastic coat, and I immediately ordered it in a 14/16 (which has yet to arrive). Because he is only 10, he has never worn a 14/16 in anything before, but the padding in this coat may cause it to run small. It's a lot heavier than I expected, and it'll be able to withstand much harsher winters than we have here in the Bay Area. The warm lining and hood, as well as the half-open "thumbhole," were favorites of my son's. Gloves that are attached to the sleeve. He's excited to get his hands on the larger size.

THE HIGHEST QUALITY I went straight to this brand when I needed another jacket for my other child this year after buying three of these jackets for my kids last year. The jackets from this brand have an odd and ambiguous name, but they are of excellent quality. notch. Quality, warmth, fit, and design are all important factors. Next winter, I'm getting one for myself! Our family resides in Alaska as a point of reference.

My ten-year-old son was the recipient of this gift. He appreciated the jacket's fleece lining, which kept him toasty warm. br>br>After one week of use, the seam down the left arm came loose, revealing the insides. Further inspection revealed that the jacket had only one seam sewn down each arm's sleeves, and the material felt more like plastic. br>It was a big disappointment for my son. br>br>The only reason I gave it two stars was because it kept me warm. This product does not meet my expectations, and I will not buy it again.

My son likes that the hood zips off and it is very warm, but the arms are a little too long to fit "as expected. " The fact that it says hand wash only and that it will fade when washed is the biggest concern. So it looks nice right now (it's brand new), but I'm worried about how it'll hold up to washing (which is a must for a child's winter coat that's worn every day at school).

My son loves this warm winter coat, but after the third wear, the hood unzipped and won't stay zipped. The end where the zipper starts is frayed and coming apart; it could be worn without the hood and still be a nice coat, but a hood is required in Wisconsin. I'll send it back to you.

It's the perfect temperature. Like the kid in A Christmas Story, he's big but not bulky. I really like the fact that there are gloves built in. Water and snow resistant. Fantastic jacket at an excellent price, especially for my 7-year-old, who is rapidly growing!.
