This is a much too small font

Injured my 9 year old, who is 64 lbs, so I bought him a size 12. It is too small for him, as he is quite tall and thin. After taking it to my 6 year old (very tall) 48 lb daughter, I gave it to her. I really like it & it's of great quality The color is nice, but the sizing is.
