Selected User Reviews For SGT KNOTS Spectra Cord (1.5 mm - 2.8 mm) - Low-Stretch Hi-Visibility Accessory Rope - Polyester Cover, Spectra Core - for Hammocks, Tie-Downs, Camping, Survival, Boot Laces, & More (25 ft - 100 ft)
However, despite my rave review of the cord, it still does not hold up in the middle of the tension that I experience, or when my hands are in contact with it. A camping accessory cord that I take everywhere. The outer casing splinters like a knife whenever I loop it up, which is good as I can wear it. When tension is applied, the line ripples with visible stress. I have tested the number 1. Sizemm and height: 5mm and 2mm. A similar problem was encountered when using 8mm material. Even though the product has increased to its test strength, I don't put it higher. As a result, the item should perform better for its price.
Two hundred dollars was purchased for a roll of 100. The cord uses 2 mm spectra, so it fits well in the suit. I was only mildly disappointed with quality. There is also an obvious roll down of the master spool, as you see from the clear plastic package. As I checked all the length of the cord, I discovered that the outer braid sometimes crumbled and exposed the inner core and/or parts the cord was badly frayed apart. Sometimes, I found splinters and little holes on the outer core and sides. If I'd burnt off the frayed pieces without a lighter I'd have to re-do it. Cords have ever attracted the attention of such a great deal of defects. An excellent cord would not be able to deliver this kind of quality to me. Please be careful of a buyer who you might not know anything about.
Nevertheless, products are delivered well, but the price, while substantial, is too high for small ng is excellent, but the cost is double what I think should be charged for the small sizes I ordered (25 and 50 foot lengths cut from a much larger spool). Various thicknesses of ice skate laces are being discussed. I'd be interested in learning about specific sizes that keep ice skates fresh from day one, so I would try to find the right sizes online and get a better quote. We're maybe only able to offer more long laces that let me select size when needed.
This is a sturdy cordage and has been gifted to an American veteran. It still doesn't have time to run outside yet, so I'll try to follow up on the report, but everything looked good and I cannot wait to try it out. We ordered a 25 foot round hank as a test. After seeing it I have decided to make an order for one of them to order 100 feet on. The blue powder has a yield of 5 mil. Pattern lines should be set up for my hammock tarp and maybe I should try ridgeline as well. Veterans are very important to me and I always strive to be good at what I do. Keep your heart connected to my brother.
A high quality cord should do the trick. It gives my tent a great sense of wellbeing. You have thick, tough nails as well. In one bag the cord was wound by a small hole and in another it wound by another hole. A few inches shorter than stated, I'm a stickler. Thanks for the excellent customer service and seller; I will return.
It would definitely be fine to get it back. In crowded spaces where man lines at night are critical, reflective patches are essential. You can mail it to the UK twice - once if you want, and twice no if you don't. Apparently, the company just shipped me a cheaper version of their own cord, known as their "spectra fishing line", priced at seventeen dollars, with higher packaging costs. Shame on the seller of this cord.
In my experience, the line took me several days as opposed to the one. We don't have 5mm line at all, so I wasn't bothered about it. The tarp has held up very well while I used this. I'm using my 7D silnylon ultralight tarp with this material. Considering the size of he powerful dude, his weight is very very low. There will be trouble for your shelter next to this guy-line. The line will break eventually.
Thanks to SGT KNOTS' high level of customer service. I did not have any opportunity to speak with them, however from the moment my order went through, I was emailed to be informed that the order had been received, then later that day told that ship had been ordered to arrive a few minutes later. Afterwards, they followed up to check on my welfare. The attention to your needs is very personal. According to the manufacturer, the product is 1 ounce. I didn't realize the thickness of the Dyneema cord. It was used to make lanyards that I used to connect instruments to my paragliders. For tents, this cord is a great choice. Strong, light weight, and great strength.
