I have no trouble fitting my 70m climbing rope in it, and there is ample space to store other equipment. There is a little zipper pocket on the inside as well, which is awesome. The rope bag is definitely a great choice. The way it looks and the ease of use makes it a perfect pick for anyone. I only dislike that the straps on these are so tiny. It is fine though as it is not one of the heaviest loads. With shoes, a harness, and safety gear it will become a little heavy, but I think the purchase is a great one. I definitely would buy from this merchant.
Despite their price, these inexpensive rope bags aren't built to last very long and won't hold up to rough conditions such as frequent climbing. Abuse of the term. If the most important use is for storage and organization, these are perfect. Handing a bag to a friend to carry a rope into the cave and share equipment load is also ok, but don't load it down with 4 liters of water. Take a reasonable approach. It is possible to purchase 12 identical rope bags on Amazon under different names, but as of a couple days ago, these were the most reasonable. Although the material on the side (which was not mentioned or pictured by all sellers) is not ideal for longevity, I believe it is beneficial for temporary storage of a wet rope, allowing it to breathe and slowly dry without molding until it can be unpacked for proper drying. The rope should be rolled up into a burrito and laid out on the tarp for normal use, then placed in the main bag. Dirt, sticks, and other objects won't be able to enter the mesh as it will be sufficiently protected. For my use case, I'd consider it to be ideal in terms of size. Mammut's Phoenix 8 can be found in the orange bag on the left. A pouch used to store the 0mm x 60m half/twin is slightly loose, and the straps all the way down are cinched. Mammut's Gravity 10 backpack can be seen on the right if you look closely. Two millimeters by 60 meters the burrito is firmly cinched, with plenty of room for the burrito to expand to include shoes and a jacket or similar small items. You must not load this little thing down enough to think it can stay together for too long or be comfortable.
There is no zippered pouch on the top of the bag, according to one review. As far as I can tell, the top pouch also exists, and I presume it is the inverted pouch with which the bag is stuffed during transport.
I have no issues with this bag, and I purchased it a second time. I lost my first bag with everything in it that I had in my trunk, and when it became necessary to reclaim all of my gear, this bag was the most convenient. This bag has a drawstring around the large opening, a zippered pouch, and I only wish it came in other colors and maybe with one more tarp loop so that it is comparable to the half rope burrito made by competitors. It was my first that was not.
It's a bag made out of rope. You can use it for a variety of things and it's fairly durable and looks great. There can't be much wrong with it, can there? Climbing is fairly casual for me, but here in Utah there are some great outdoor routes that require me to carry all There is a purpose for this bag.
Compared to many rope bags of other name brands, this bag does what few other brands can. As an independent bag or one that can be tucked into a larger climbing bag, it is useful on its own. A 70m of cable can be held with ease thanks to its lightweight and durability. There is nothing that can be wrong with the description or photos.
With this bag, my 70M packs down so small and the tarp is not that big, however it is just big enough to get the job done and the tarp is not that large. Due to the fact that I carried my rope in my backpack, I cut off the straps.
It is convenient since I can use it separately and carry it as a backpack, or I can use it just to hold the rope and carry it The rope I use is 70 meters and I coil it before putting it in the bag, but it also fits without it. In the case you want to carry gear in the same bag as your rope, this product is not recommended.
