addition, the bag doesn't close all the way As if it were a raincoat. The time capsule is pretty neat, but it's unlikely I could ever get it all back in. It is inexpensive though, which is why it gets 4 stars from me because for my needs I will find it sufficient. In spite of the fact that I sometimes use rope in my theatrical jobs, I mainly got this bag to store rope at home and use with the wood trimmer I use in my yard. The bag can hold 150' of 7/16" KMIII cable with plenty of room left over.
With a 9 I have an average of 7. 1. As of now, I've had no problems with the rope falling out by pushing it down and piling large objects on top and cinching the buckles. There were times when I carried maybe 8 pounds in the bag and hiked about a mile each way and it was OK.
I'm holding my 60m 9 with it.
There is something great about the way the pull cord on the opening works When you stow your rope in this bag, you can cinch it with the metal tabs and be secure in the knowledge that the rope will continue to get ventilation (along with the net panel on the bag) even if it is wet. UPDATED A bag from the trip is sitting with my other 'go' gear where it cannot be disturbed by the normal comings and goings of daily life. This is an epic fail.
