Questions & Answers

The bag seems heavy. Is there a weight inside?

In no way was there a weight inside However, we have tested the bag several times with Boy Scouts and have not had any trouble tossing it all the way to the end.

Do you know how thick the rope is?

I found out that 1/2" was the diameter of the rope at my warehouse.

For the price, this is a great bag
5/5

It arrived ready to throw and it threw completely out as it should. Yesterday, I received my throw rope and I tried it out in my yard. When I brought it back to me, I realized that my bag had a huge washer (weight) at the bottom. I suppose that does not make a huge difference, but it makes throwing easier. Despite the downside, I will be picking up more for my other kayaks. I just wish there were drainage holes in the rope and bag. Oh, I see. It took some time to tie a loop to the end of the stick that I hold, but it works great.

It is a total piece of junk and should not be used
3/5

I would not recommend this at all. Where do I start? The instructions say that the equipment has many failures a faulty power supply, a fire alarm, an overload fault, and more This is literally what I am saying). When loading a new batch, place BITTER END at the beginning of your FLAKE line. Then it would come across as stupid if it wasn't so pitiful. A second problem with this bag is that there is no adjustable throw handle. It only has a strap (they should have an adjustable throw handle, or bucket handle). Three, they tell you to "stick your arm through the loop" and secure it. I've heard this is bad advice! Do they tell you it complies with Coast Guard regulations, so you might also get pulled into the water with a strong current and/or break your wrist? Is that the Coast Guard of Somalia? I advise you to run from this product, not walk.

There are rapids in the 4th and 3rd classes. The person in front of me had lost his going over Buckskin Marys, so I had to use it since he had lost his.

Throw bag of excellent quality! Unlike most other materials, rope can be thrown and put back in the bag easily.
