That's a question I am unable to answer, sorry. You've got an axe that I'm not familiar with.

How did it fit into your pick, and what types of picks did you use it for? There is a petzl summit 59 in my possession. ?

In exchange for a Petzyl Glacier 68, I got it. You can easily remove it and it fits well.

Is this something that could be used with any type of ice ax/pick? The black diamond I use to hike steep sections is used as an ice axe. This is a mountain range in the ?

The items should be able to fit together.

Is this compatible with the Petzl ride spike (if that's what you want to call it)?

5 stars for the spike protector, 1 star for the pick protector = 3 stars
You are actually spending more money for a spike protector because the pick one will get lost pretty quickly anyways.

There are some parts of my PETZL Ride Axe that aren't compatible

As it is listed on the Petzl website as suitable for my Petzl Ride Axe, I believe it to be such a product. The spike protector, however, does not function. It is the pick protector that does it. It would be helpful to have an adze protector to go with.

I can use it on my ice axes with no problems

My running shoes fit perfectly, and I can't take them off unless I am proactively trying to. You won't just see them fall off without any help. This is really all I can ask for so I'll give it a 5 star rating.

This is not a very sturdy item

As you can see, the broad end of the axe was not covered. We noticed that the quality of the product was lacking because our pet cat was able to chew one of the pieces in half in just one bite.

I had no problems with this product

It worked perfectly for my needs. It is only a problem that you have to stack them on the mountainside. In that case, there really is no reason to give a product a negative rating on that basis. My checked baggage was never torn by the sharp points of the luggage tag since it performed perfectly for what I needed.
