The legs are six feet long each Even with the possibility of a shortened leg, each leg can be used on smaller trunks and as the trunks narrow up.

Carabiners are being stolen, right?

In fact, yes. This is a very heavy-duty machine... I should add that it is very heavy as well! This product is good. We are using it for climbing courses in the mountains.
