Questions & Answers

Is it possible to purchase only the front part of this bag or does it come with the straps as well?

The bag comes with I have owned several harnesses, but this has to be one of my favorites. Currently I have the position of chief of my fire department and I'm a DIVS in wildland firefighting.

How can I order the right size for my chest size of 54", which is roughly a 3xlt?

I assume it will fit you just fine. If not, you can upgrade the straps to an XL.

What is the maximum weight that this can support comfortably?

In addition to my 2 m radio, cell phone, and 3 clips, I also carry a small flashlight. It includes a 45 plus a full-size 1911 with one in the pipe. There were also several pens and a notebook (small). In addition, there are two key rings on which there are ten I can wear the cover for up to ten hours without feeling a problem. I am 10 lbs. The unit will be of great benefit to you. Wishing you the best of

How well will this fit a woman who is smaller? If I were to appear I would be 5'3" and 125 pounds, and not a big chested guy?

It is possible to adjust these to fit any size. You will be able to wear it. problem might be to cut the straps if they are too long and interfere with the operation. There is no need to be a professional, as this is a very straightforward fix.

The design and quality of the product are both flawed
3/5

One of the straps has already begun to pull out of its threads, and the Velcro is already fraying. I wore this for one 3 day shift as a first responder in the desert. Although it may seem such a simple purchase, it has probably been the result of a miscommunication between the seller and the first responders. In the main pocket of the backpack, the radios are on the outside, so they tend to droop forward and not stay tight to your body, making them highly irritating. However, there are buttons to try to help this, but they are useless. Additionally, the way the strap goes over the radio is flawed given the fact that the strap starts at the bottom of the pouch instead of the top, so you always have to reach down and grab the strap when you remove the radio. Additionally, there is no good place to clip a microphone to the straps. Thought this would be a better vest since it cost more than other vests, and appeared to be of higher quality, but the design is awful and the quality is It would have been nice if they would have replaced my vest with a different one or if they would have fixed their product and sent me a replacement.

It is great to have a weight distribution like this
5/5

A comfortable bag for carrying 2 radios, a spare battery for the radio, a 12000 mAh battery pack, a half-size notebook, and 20 sheets of folded 8 x 7 paper for 12 hours. A couple of pens, some 5x11 paper, and charging cables are also required. A very high amount of weight was distributed across mid-to upper back, so arms and shoulders did not feel the strain. In addition, it served as a place to put The shirt seems to fit men with small to XL sizes The belt-based radio holder is a much better alternative to fanny packs, satchels, slings, and belt-based radio holders due to its lower profile, less bulk, and ease of accessibility. To make things clear, I would recommend a PTT mic for the radios, such as the following.

It's too tight in the radio pocket and the straps are too short
3/5

Despite the fact that it seems well made, I haven't tested it in use since I noticed that as soon as I removed it from the package, it was in some serious need of basic design improvements. A similar problem is that the straps are far too short, making this product unusable by anyone whose chest is large. Amazon does not sell a long strap kit for this product, and even if it did, given the price, they should include it in the package. As a matter of fact, I had half expected this and was prepared to modify the straps myself so they were longer. Although the straps are a problem, they're not the worst. There is a much bigger problem due to the radio pockets being far too small and the elastic they are made from being We cannot expect this to take so long Having the radios slide in and out will allow them to be adjusted fast when necessary. If the elastic is too tight or not elastic at all, it should not be used. Rather than the tightness of the pocket, a strap should be put over the radio to hold it in place. Straps are attached to the inside of the pocket, making it more difficult to insert a radio with a belt clip since the belt clip will catch on a Keeping the strap out of the way and holding the tight elastic open is what you need to do to insert the radio however, this poses some challenges The best way is to do it with three In the future, I will try something else instead of returning the product.

It was my daily carry for years, and it still works well
5/5

Using 18" whip antennas with my VHF and DMR radios is a choice for me. I don't have to worry about them poking me in the eye with the angled carry mounts. When not in use, the antennae are held in place by the internal pocket by having room to curl them in Also, I put batteries and a Pi-based computer in the bag In the same pocket, you can find a Star DMR gateway. I've turned out to be a very successful pilot with this rig It is designed to be carried daily for emergency communication needs.

A High Speed Radio Harness is included in the package
5/5

After many years of using my Conterra radio harness, I finally upgraded. It was a must for me to try after I got my Coaxsher Ranger line pack. This is a vast improvement over the Conterra in terms of Everything I need on the fireline is organized and easy to access thanks to the app. In addition to the GPS and radio, I use the additional radio and battery pockets for my Kestrel. My notebook, IRPG, maps, briefing packets, and extra batteries can all be easily accessed thanks to the large clamshell pocket. Those who work in the wildland fire service or Search and Rescue should consider using this radio chest rig.

When we are working in the field, we have to carry a lot of stuff, so this is something we use for the field team
5/5

We feel good about ourselves when we are good, but we also hoard when we are bad. However, if you have a creative, weird, odd, fun job that this could help with and you enjoy playing with computer games, this is a good choice!.

An ambulance would be great with this
5/5

As a medic on an ambulance, I use it for holding all of the things I need while on call as well as managing my radio and medications. With the pandemic outbreak, it has been an amazing product for under my gowns.

Despite the shortening of the , I love it
4/5

It has been in my possession for several years as I work in TV production. There is always a place to stash a walkie-talkie, extra batteries and media for your camera, pens, lens cloth, etc. It is attractive, except that they shortened the straps to a point that I cannot help but wear it "snug. " This has never been an issue for me with the old one, and I am a big guy. ". I gave it a 5 out of 5 if the straps were still the same length.
