Take a look at your choices - If you're looking for a total of eleven, get one. This is an excellent set that is well worth the $100 price tag. You might be able to find them for less at Backcountry or Sierra Trading Post, but I got mine here.
Selected User Reviews For DMM Wallnut Nut Set
The black diamond nuts belong to my climbing partner, while these belong to me. I think I prefer the DMM shape out of the two. They simply appear to be more secure than the BD ones on a regular basis. Also- I had a friend whip on the 11 and it was successful! Climb on!.
For the price, this is a fantastic product. something I can say I have faith in for the rest of my life. in the literal sense!.
Although they were purchased as a gift, they were reported to be in excellent condition.
Best nuts I've ever climbed on, far superior to bds and incredibly easy to remove; I haven't used a nut tool on them in over a year.
This purchase has exceeded my expectations, and I plan to make more.
It was a perfect fit.
I recently received these and have already begun to experiment with them, most recently during a toprope session where I used them to construct anchors. I believe these are the best in the classic style of nuts (I haven't tried offsets yet), with the divot in the center of larger pieces that greatly aids in placement to get that "bomber" feel you want, plus I got them at a very reasonable price. I trust BD gear, but their nuts have a cheap feel to them, whereas these stick and feel secure. I received a score of 1 I got these at a discounted price around $87 I believe, and I see the price has gone back up. If you're like me, you'll be finding occasions to place a 4, and more often the 5 and 6, but I got them at a discounted price around $87, and I see the price has gone back up. They aren't light, but then again, I don't expect nuts to be light. After reading rave reviews about DMM's gear and having firsthand experience with their classic nut design, I'm only going to DMM for passive protection from now on. I'll have to get some offsets as soon as possible! If you haven't done so already, get yourself a nut tool. outdoorgearlab gives it a thumbs up!.
These are superior to black diamond nuts in terms of quality.
